How would I go about making my microphone glitch and repeat short segments of audio?

I want to make my microphone do a repeating glitch I've seen older microphones do (like in this video), is there a way to do that? I've been trying for a while but to no avail.

Is the MidnightTrace MBC3 GB/GBC FLASH CART 128KB compatible with the Joey Jr Flash Cart?

I'm super into making Homebrew GameBoy games and was wondering if these two worked together? I have the Joey Jr. already and am thinking about buying this flash cart. If not, what other good, cheap flash carts that work with the Joey Jr. would you recommend? Thanks!
