Temporary to Permanent Residency process

Family of 3 living in Phoenix. We got Temporary Residency 3.5 years ago in CDMX with a facilitator, and then renewed it in Puerto Peñasco (Rocky Point) 2.5 years ago with a different facilitator. Planning to convert to Permanent residency in February. I contacted a couple of facilitators in Puerto Peñasco and they said its a different process now and involves two trips to Mexico about 10 days apart, as they have to send the cards to Hermosillo. Any idea if I can get it done all in one trip to INM in Hermosillo or in Mexicali, or in Tijuana? We prefer to drive, not fly.

Much ado about a Nobody

In light of EU Foreign Policy Chief (and Head Nobody) Kaja Kallas' earth-shattering statement that Israeli policy essentially constitutes 'apartheid', my response is exactly thus: yawn.

For an encore, I suspect that next she will come up with other similarly shocking terms, running through the alphabet as follows: 'brutality', 'callous disregard', 'excessive force', etc.

And my response will be: double yawn.

Call me when you get to G...

But alas, Estonian has no G.

So, Kaja will proceed to expeditiously skip over that and go on directly to 'heightened insecurity', and then, of course... 'just kidding!'

Do NOT book car rental through Allegiant. EVER!

They do not allow you to change or cancel your car rental reservation.

I tried to call and ask, but they said it's a 5-6 hour wait.

Alamo's website says contact Allegiant.

And nowhere does it say what I am even paying.

It's all smoke and mirrors, but I recall roughly what the cost was, and I found the same deal $200-300 cheaper on Hotwire.

But I cannot cancel just the care reservation, and non-one will speak to me.

Is that how they plan to build their reputation?

I haven't even gotten on the plane yet, and I hate their guts already...
