I picked up my first Leica an M2 while getting married in Japan, after being impressed by how the rangefinder experience compared to my old Nikon S2. I still love shooting with the Nikkor S-mount 50mm f/1.4, but I’ve also come to enjoy a Canon 50mm f/1.4 ltm on the M2.
I’m now trying 35mm for the first time and picked up a Mandler 35mm f2 my copy seems like an alright one. My shooting is a mix of street photography and family documentation. I love the look of 50mm but want to push myself toward wider focal lengths and work on my compositions.
I’m drawn to vintage glass in general — what Leica-mount vintage lenses should I be keeping an eye out for?
