Drinks postpartum?

My partner stopped drinking when I was 8 months pregnant after a few bad blackout incidents, including flirting with and grabbing another woman while I was there pregnant. Sober, he’s amazing, and I’m really proud of him for staying sober.
I’m almost 5 months postpartum and I handle the baby every night plus most of the household stuff. I finally asked for one night to relax, poured my first glass of wine in forever, and planned to watch a movie. He immediately started telling me I shouldn’t drink and that we need to set a better example as parents. It annoyed me enough that I poured it out and went to bed.
I think what bothered me is that I’ve never had an issue with alcohol, yet because he did, it now feels like his sobriety is becoming a rule for me too. Especially when this was supposed to be my one little night to myself.
Moms, what’s your take? Is an occasional glass of wine after baby is asleep perfectly reasonable, or do you think becoming parents changes that?

Mother came to visit my 4 month old. Did I overreact?

My mom came over to visit my 4-month-old son, Ky. While she was there, she started venting and said that none of her kids love her anymore, including my sister and me. I told her, “I do love you.” She looked at me and said, “You barely love me,” and started crying.
That really hurt, especially because she said it in front of my baby. It also felt so far from the truth.
My mom lives only 10 minutes away. She came to the hospital after I gave birth and visited me one other time shortly after I got home. After that, she didn’t come see me again until I was 3 months postpartum.
I’ve cried so much over the last few months because it feels like my mom just doesn’t want to spend time with me. On Mother’s Day, I reached out and tried to make plans with her. She never responded, and I later found out she spent the day with my sister instead.
Before this happened, she also made a comment that she was thinking about moving to Honduras because “there’s nothing left here for me.” I told her, “You still have me and your grandson here.” She replied, “Yeah, but y’all are fine.”
So when she looked at me and said, “You barely love me,” it really broke my heart. It felt incredibly unfair after how much I’ve wanted a relationship with her.
I calmly asked her to please leave because I was too upset to continue the conversation. She responded by saying, “Fine, I just won’t come anymore.”

Am I overreacting for asking her to leave? How would you handle this situation?
