Wind V2L Canada?
Can anyone confirm that the Wind model has V2L capability in Canada? I believe it does but have seen mixed discussions about it so wondering if anyone has a V2L adapter and tried it in Canada.
Appreciate it

How is the range calculated or stated on the site? I'm not familiar with EVs but what I've read is that range is stated at 487km. My EV5 is currently at 70% charge and shows 471km to empty, which I know in real world will be different. Just curious how they determine range as it'd appear if I charge the next 30% it could possibly display as 600km :)
Has anyone created a spreadsheet to determine their charing costs when at home charging? Thinking of creating a basic sheet that will take into consideration: Battery Size, Percent I want to charge, and Charging efficiency. From those inputs will spit out a dollar value based on my off-peak, mid-peak and on-peak power rates.
Wondering if anyone here has done similar? I have looked online and seen some much more complicated spreadsheets trying to capture all charges, etc. I'm just trying to figure out estimates of what the cost will be to charge to a particular level based on time of day and see what the outputs look like.
No clue what the costs to charge say 60% in my area would be.
What does everyone have programmed as their favorite (star) button on their steering wheel and dash?
Ideally I wanted it to change between scrolling through favorite radio stations and just runing fm radio so I can get to any station. However doesn’t seem like that is an option.
Would like to hear what others have it programmed for.
Curious as to what charger people have at home? My car came a bit sooner than anticipated and I'm not looking at what L2 charger to get, along with the rebate programs.
See that Pion is having a flash sale but noticed it does not come with a native NACs port. Can get an adapter of course, but thinking it might just be easier, less points of failure, to have a charger with a native NACs port. Might be overthinking that a bit.
Wondering what everyone has gone with for their home chargers and if they are native NACS
Just got an EV5 Wind in Canada. Curious if anyone has done any 3d prints for their vehicle?
Know for some other brands there are quite a few that people use so curious to see what/if the community has any that they’ve found valuable.
Thinking maybe a cap for the NACs port or possible some for the modular storage in the trunk.
New to the EV world - what are the best apps to be using? I see plug share, charge hub, and some others for finding chargers.
Also, Flow, Switch, Tesla for actually signing up to get a charge.
Any recommendations or suggestions that people would provide? Don’t think there is a need for too many apps but seeming like different stations will require different sign ups to charge.
This could be a potential sticky if people think useful for the sub.
Thanks!
Edit: I’m based in Ontario
Bit overwhelmed determining which L2 home charger to get installed. Know that Switch and Grizzl-E seem to be the most recommended for their charging programs, so likely will go with one of them.
What I'm struggling with is which one of those chargers to get, and what are the differences, etc? I'll need to get one with a NACS cable (unless I use an adapter).
How do I know how many amps - or is there a recommendation for this? Also, anything else to be looking for when deciding on which charger?
Appreciate any insights or advice so I can get this done soon. Wasn't expecting to get the car this early so bit behind on this one.
Just picked up my EV5 in Ontario, Canada.
Want to make sure I order the right adapters so I can charge when on the road.
Think I need a J1772 to NACS: https://a2zev.com/collections/charging-adapters-home-page/products/j1772-nacs
And a CCS1 to NACS: https://a2zev.com/collections/charging-adapters-home-page/products/ccs1-nacs-thunderstorm
Would those be the correct ones to purchase and cover most chargers?
At home I'll be installing a L2 charger and will get NACS plug.
Not having this area open throughout the tournament is a big miss! People from around the world coming down walking the Harbourfront and the matches not being shown on certain days is disappointing.
I can see the activations not being able to be open throughout the tournament as that is a lot of staffing for brands and product to give away. Just have the games shown live. Every game of the tournament not just select dates/games.
I’m looking at a Wind FWD and this will be my first EV. Plan on putting in an L2 charger in garage but will want to charge when on road as well.
Understanding is the Wind only comes with the L1 adapter. So what should I be purchasing along with the vehicle to ensure I can charge at home and at various chargers when traveling?
Curious to what others are being quoted on a Wind FWD in Canada. Received a quote of about $52,500 yesterday after EVAP.
Wanted to see if that was within range of what others are being quoted
