Persistent microscopic blood in urine and pathological casts on two urine tests, normal creatinine. What should my next step be?

Hi everyone,
I’m a 27-year-old male.
I had a routine health check. At the time of my first urine test, I had a cold with a mild fever.

My first urine test showed:
Protein +
Blood present
RBCs 4–6/HPF
Pathological casts present
I repeated the urine test, and it showed:
Protein improved to trace
Blood still present
RBCs still 4–6/HPF
Pathological casts still present
Other relevant information:
Serum creatinine: 1.2 mg/dL (normal)
Blood urea: 64.4 mg/dL (mildly elevated)
HbA1c: 5.3%
Blood pressure is normal.

I have no burning while urinating, no visible blood in urine, no flank pain, and no swelling.
I do notice persistent foamy/bubbly urine.
For the last 3–4 days, I’ve also had a continuous burning sensation in my upper stomach. A doctor thought it was acidity but didn’t really review my urine reports.

My questions are:
Could a cold with a mild fever explain these urine findings, even though they persisted on a repeat test?
How significant is “pathological casts” when the lab doesn’t specify the type?
What would be the appropriate next investigations? (
Does this sound urgent, or is it reasonablen to wait

Urine test came back with protein and blood - should I be worried?

27M, training upper lower 4x a week , eating 115g protein daily, in a caloric deficit (1750-1900 kcal). Just got bloodwork done and the urine analysis shows:

•	Protein: positive (trace level, marked as “+”)
•	Blood: present
•	RBCs: 4-6/hpf (normal is 0-2)
•	Pathological cast: present
•	No symptoms at all — no pain, no swelling, nothing

Everything else in my blood panel looks fine , kidney function (creatinine, urea borderline high but not critical), liver is clean, thyroid normal, vitamin D good.

Is this serious? Could this just be from dehydration + hard training? Should I stop training or change my diet now, or wait for retest results?

27M. Routine health check. No urinary symptoms (no burning, fever or visible blood in urine).

My urine test showed:
Protein: +
Blood: Present
RBCs: 4-6/HPF
Pathological casts: Present
Pus cells: 2-4/HPF
No bacteria
Blood tests:
Creatinine: 1.2 mg/dL (normal)
Urea: 64.4 mg/dL (slightly high)
eGFR wasn’t reported.
Blood pressure is normal.
How concerning is this combination? Could it be a transient finding or is kidney disease more likely? What would be the appropriate next tests before seeing a nephrologist?

Some RCB fans don’t deserve this team

RCB fans seriously need to stop doubting this team every single match. We finished as table toppers for a reason. This team has shown fight, consistency and confidence all season. And people are still acting like we are underdogs.

After all, we are the defending champions now. Back the team properly instead of spreading negativity after every bad over or wicket. Trust the players and enjoy the season. This is one of the strongest RCB squads we’ve had.
