Request: oQ4e-mtp version of Qwen3.5 122B-A10B

I found the oQ4-mtp version wasn't an improvement over 4-bit for me and I'm wanting to try a oQ4e-mtp version after trying 27B and 35B-A3B oQ4e-mtp verions.

EDIT: Thank you u/Loudhoward-dk for suggesting to use the OG version from Qwen. I'm making the oQ4e-mtp quant myself now and will upload to HF if it performs well.

EDIT 2: The oQ4e-mtp version also ended up performing worse than the 4bit.

EDIT 3: I'm uploading multiple oQe-mtp quants to HF: https://huggingface.co/scottlowry/

Did Microsoft permanently delete your non-profit’s Microsoft 365 / SharePoint / OneDrive data after license changes? Please contact me.

Our non-profit recently lost all of our SharePoint and Microsoft 365 data after Microsoft removed our legacy Nonprofit Business Premium licenses.

We were never warned that our data would be permanently deleted. We received invoices and other Microsoft emails, but no notification stating that our organization’s data would be erased if we didn’t take action.

Microsoft has told us the deletion is irreversible. However, we’ve since learned of at least one case where data was successfully restored within the 14-day period, which raises serious questions about how these cases are being handled.

We have already contacted law firms to obtain legal advice. If it turns out Microsoft failed to follow its own policies or failed to provide adequate notice before permanently deleting customer data, we are considering pursuing legal action. If there are enough affected organizations, that could potentially include a class action.

If your non-profit experienced the same thing—especially if your SharePoint, OneDrive, Teams, or Exchange data was permanently deleted after a license change or deprovisioning—I’d really appreciate hearing from you.

Please comment below or send me a private message with:

  • What happened
  • When it happened
  • Which Microsoft 365 nonprofit licenses you had
  • Whether Microsoft was able to recover your data

I’m not looking to start a debate about backups. We know backups are important. The question here is whether Microsoft permanently deleted customer data without providing adequate warning or following its own stated retention process.

If this happened to multiple organizations, it may indicate a much broader issue than an isolated incident.

What do you think happened?

This is an Amazon order for two MacBooks that's been delayed for two weeks now. Amazon has already sent replacements and I'm wondering if this will somehow be found and sent to me still. Looks like it was immediatly lost upon arrival at first UPS depot.

Locked out of Microsoft Office 365- Sole Admin

Hi,

I’m a fairly new business owner who replaced their phone. I tried to add my business email to my new phone but was met with MFA error messages (it forwarded me to the MFA app which wasn’t authenticated yet). Now after following misguided ChatGPT steps I’m out of my account on my computer as well (I stupidly did revoke access).

I am on sole global administrator (I know now that was stupid). I can’t access my emails I have a potential client starting soon.

How can I get help? I called the main lines and only got back AI 1/9 attempts and then the phone hung up.

Qwen3.6 oQ MTP vs Vanilla Intellgence Benchmarks

I keep seeing performance benchmarks being shared but speed doesn't matter if accuracy is degraded. I did a sample size of 30 questions per benchmark using MMLU-Pro, GSM8K, MathQA, HumanEval, and MBPP to see which models are the smartest while also the fastest.

I'm using oMLX v0.3.12 on a Mac Studio M3 Ultra 256GB. All models are using the WebDev coding preset plus preserve_thinking=true and reasoning=high kwargs. Vanilla models are not using DFlash or SpecPrefill. KV Cache is not being TurboQuanted either.

TL;DR: The oQ MTP models are slower and dumber. Stick with vanilla models for now.

Anyone ever just... disable Bitlocker for everyone?

Totally hypothetical situation that I'm not actually considering (sort of). But i've had an increasing number of users reach out that they can't get into their device without a bitlocker key. It's easy enough for me to provide that key and get them in, but one in particular kept having issues with the TPM and I just disabled it temporarily until I could get around to fixing that.

Admittedly, my knowledge in this area is not strong but as a bit of a thought experiment I was like, what if we just did away with BitLocker? If the devices are rolled into Intune, couldn't we just wipe it if one ever got stolen?

Again, not sold on the idea, just entertaining it. Thoughts?

TPT Question: Fastest way to migrate 100 old Windows PCs to Linux Mint?

Hello, I work in the IT department of a company and I’ve been tasked with migrating around 100 computers from Windows 10 to Linux for security reasons. We have a little over a month to complete the migration, and any computers still running Windows 10 after the deadline will no longer be allowed to access the company network.

The problem is that the process my team and I are currently using is extremely time-consuming:

  1. We take the employee’s computer
  2. Back up all of their files
  3. Format the machine and install Linux Mint
  4. Restore the user’s files

Most of these PCs are old and low-spec, and many of the hard drives are very slow or unreliable. Because of that, the backup process alone can sometimes take an entire afternoon or even a full day. That’s without counting unexpected issues that come up while working on the machines, which slows everything down even more.

Is there a faster or more scalable way to handle this kind of migration instead of manually doing everything one computer at a time? Any advice, tools, or workflow suggestions would be greatly appreciated.

EDIT: Thanks, everyone. I really appreciate all the suggestions — they gave me a much better idea of how to deal with this situation, and I’ll definitely make good use of the advice and tools you shared. Unfortunately, SSDs are still out of reach for us right now because getting new hardware approved involves a ton of bureaucracy, but I’ll definitely push for some kind of cloud system where users can back up their own files.

AWS racks M3 Ultra Macs that boast specs you can’t currently buy

I also noticed the 96GB model moved from 9-10 weeks delivery to 12-13 weeks.

Got a new 96GB model a couple weeks ago but then happened to catch a 256GB refurb available. Yes, it's for LLMs. I'm an IT contractor for a part of my state's government and need to keep things local for various compliance reasons. Now I can run Qwen3.6 with 1M token context easily. It'll also perform better than Microsoft's lousy M365 Copilot.

I just got a new 96GB one less than 2 weeks ago but then happened to check Apple's refurb store today. Saw this 256GB model and purchased it immediatly.
