Nepal : High Court Janakpur rules in favour of Bhojpuri as official language of Madhesh Province
In a writ petition filed at High Court Janakpur demanding recognition of Maithili, Bhojpuri and Bajjika languages as official languages of Madhesh Province, the court has issued a directive order in favour of the petitioner. These three languages were recommended by a constitutional body Language Commission.
