Product Designer thinking about pivot

I’m getting increasingly worried that traditional UX/Product Design has hit a ceiling, both in terms of hiring and salary, and I’m trying to figure out what adjacent career move would give me the best financial upside without throwing away 7 years of experience.

Did anyone made or is planning to do similar pivot to something else in tech?

Any product designers here who started their agency?

I am product designer working on starting my own agency. I am wondering if there are any product designers here who started their own agency?

In what kind of company you worked before? What skills you had to learn and what were the hardest to learn? How is it going for you overall?

Looking for feedback from people working in property

Hi everyone, I am currently researching a product idea for landlords, agents and property managers. If you work in property or manage rentals, I'd really appreciate 5 minutes of feedback. Once the tool is ready it will be free to test for selected participants.

I know I will sound ungrateful saying this but I am completely burnt out and I hate my job. I am working mostly remotely in London, earning 56k per year and I am TOTALLY burnout. I did therapy last year and I have to come back to antidepressants to make everything more bearable and just stick through it. I work with bunch of pricks to be fair. There are absolutely no performance/goal reviews in our team - yes, that was raised already. I am not appreciated and my workload increases all the time plus I'm working with bunch of insensitive and rude people who don't know how to work in a team. It's truly unbearable.

I know working remotely plus this salary is someone's dream but I feel totally trapped. I am looking for some advice on how to manage this. I've been applying for jobs but current market in my specialism is not great either. It honestly feels like a trap and I don't know what can I do.

I don't have family here where I could crash for couple months and just rest a bit. The other option I have is sick leave but that's also temporary and I know without getting a job everything will come back to previous state.

Another option I had in mind was to get hired in a cafe or retail. I used to work in retail. I'd rather be tired physically.

Another option which I am actively trying to make happen is starting something on my own. However at the moment it is just really hard and adds stress in my situation. I am trying to do as much as I can however I dont have enough income from side hustles to leave just yet.

I'm in my early 30s and I want to set up a family. This whole situation also impacts my dating and social life. I feel tired, exhausted and isolated. I'm scared to move to another country alone again and I don't know what to do.

What would be helpful is to hear some stories of people who went through this and how you managed? How did you manage to get out of this? If I had a chance I want to do something to just  have rest from these crazy soul sucking snakey corporate people.
