Waze routing has tanked in last 2 months

My typical, and most often mistake ridden routing:

Long time user, 5+ years two different weekly 1 hour big city commute. No construction changing up the streets.

  1. Routing has gotten weird, in asking me to exit a freeway onto side streets instead of taking a ramp connecting 2 freeways. A perfectly clear ramp, without extra traffic to trigger an early exit. As in always.

  2. Very slow to update the plan when I do take the secondary route. As in it will prompt exiting and u-turning to get back on the initial route. This when 1 of the alternates offered is faster, that I am already on - it takes while to re-route to the route I am driving. Once it does, after ignoring a couple u-turn routes - it will go to the plan and drop minutes off the ETA.

Others experiencing really poor routing the last couple of months?

I do not have time to help them debug all this, but I do have time to complain on Reddit. Hahahha.

My board went from California to TX within the promised timeline, but it wasn't obvious while placing the order the accessories where coming from China.

What would be the expected timeline given:

Boo Tynee!

Other new phone tricks to pair with existing FWG?

Having read the instructions from the link previously shared here…following the no old phone available requiring a reboot;

I am confused as to when the pairing window actually is after the reboot. The instructions say wait 6 to 8 minutes after the reboot, then power up the app and lick on the plus icon, which promptly starts a 5 minute count down to wait for the box to power up.

And did I notice a second beep? Is that when pairing window closes?

Please send help, as my phone is at the bottom of the bay and my kids are locked out of gaming and their tablets.

Boards with speed limits?

Considering a tynee hub ultra for my daredevil 10 year old, but want to limit its max speed. Will the mobile app allow me to hard wire a speed limit that the remote won’t override?

From the website:

Mobile App
Easy to adjust everything. fast & stable.
Equipped with a mobile App (iOS & Android), all the settings on the Tynee Ultra can be adjusted easily on your phone. You can customize your riding parameters freely. It’s very simple and easy to use

Miata induced bad driving habits?

  1. Weekly: Turn signal clicking away well after it's needed - blaming on either top down (can't hear clicking, or not watching dash as it's convertible time), radio up, or revs up.

  2. Monthly: been 10+ years since last stick, so sometimes reach for another gear after 6, as 20 years of 5 speeds had me always go upper right for top gear.

I only OCCASIONALLY apex neighborhood corners by cutting into the opposite directions lane. 😜
