Praise for my Xeros and BOOOOs for my vivos

I brought my vivobarefoot’s to Alaska and even with a silk liner sock was having irritation on my ankles with a small hike. Stiff, uncomfortable, frustrating as hell. I was then blessed to find the xeros at a used gear shop and they got me through 30+ miles of hiking including a 5,500 elevation gain summit, bouldering, creek crossings.

I had worn the Vivos a few times with the same issue and hoped they’d break in, but they are too uncomfortable to bother unless someone here tells me they do and they are worth it.

Don’t mind the awkward ass photo I wore dark underwear so the hole situation in the leaf pants would be clear. They are still very cute with white underwear but I don’t think I can try to sell them in good conscience lol

I would also love trades instead of sales. Was thinking $70 obo for the pants in good condition

FBC or something like it? At my local thrift shop and didn’t want to climb to see the tag

I’ve gotten random people throughout the years but no one consistently, curious if there’s anyone I haven’t heard.

I was obsessed with these pants I got at the ren faire (large child’s sizing) because they are the perfect summer pants. Really breezy but not incredibly wide legged, thin breathable material, not high waisted. They shrank some and are too short and now have a big rip in the back anyways.

The brand is Alter ego bazaar but they don’t sell online and they don’t seem to make them anymore (checked at a faire last year) so I’m looking for something very similar. Everything I find has really wide legs, is too high waisted or too short in the leg (I want them to reach my shoes ideally)

My only idea is take somewhere to get the same type made with them as a model. But I would love suggestions from this fabulous group for similar pants.

I know this is a deep cut but kind of, right? They were famous historical sideshow performers. I think he favors one brother more but I don’t know which is which because they are always pictured together.

I own one Carhartt that I’ll cherish forever because my Papa bought it for me when I was 14. He was a farmer and wanted to buy me something quality. He took me to a little shop that from my memory was wall to wall Carhartt’s.

The way he tells the story, we knocked and no one answered. He went “around back” to knock and some guy opened the door and several men were actively skinning a deer. He said “anyone here tryna sell a coat?” And someone washed up and let us in so we could buy this baby.

It probably has only seen 100 days out over 20 years but maybe it’ll have some visible wear by the time I pass to my kids ❤️

I’m sure they are far beyond my price range but I’m obsessed with her pants and would love to know where they are from, or anything similar ❤️
