I am in the middle of filing bankruptcy and I have to pay my attorney first, which I’ll be able to finish paying him when I get paid for June (im paid once a month). However, I’ve stopped taking my medication cuz I can’t afford to buy it and im going to use my grocery budget to pay my attorney. How do food banks work? I volunteer at one a couple times a month but im just in the back doing warehouse work when I volunteer. I also feel like I shouldn’t use the food bank cuz it’s mostly my fault im in bankruptcy anyway. Should I use the food bank?

Hey! I have been advised to make a new account but I don’t owe my credit union any money. Is this something people normally have to do in bankruptcy?

okay so I am broke and I am in bankruptcy because I am crashing and burning. I’ve been not buying my medication and not going to the doctor because I can’t afford to. I went to the dentist because I thought my cleaning would be covered by insurance but because my gums are swollen it would be $300??? I don’t even have $300. And yes I am employed full time but god damn. I have already been not grocery shopping the last few months and I can’t cut anything else out of my budget. And until my bankruptcy is over I can’t get a second job. Anyway I don’t understand what the point in anything is anymore
