Rewatch!
I am excited because I have decided to sit down with season one and rewatch the entire series which I think I’ve only done once when I was younger and I’m sure there’s even episodes I have missed! ♥️ ✨

I went to get my hair done yesterday, and I am so
Incredibly disappointed!
At the beginning of the appointment we discussed what I was coming in for and I told her I was wanting to grow my hair out to my natural color and was looking to take my current color (golden reddish dark blonde) to a lighter ash blonde with a root melt so it looked like I already had grown out roots. I even had 2 reference photos I showed her at the beginning of my appointment and I am honestly baffled at how little she paid attention to what I was asking for.
We discussed my hair history and I told her a few months back I used a pink manic panic so that when we bleached there would be pink that came out and she said thank you for letting her know. I also informed her that my hair was unwashed because I know you want to do color on dirty hair and she said she was going to do a clarifying shampoo because she wanted to have an accurate idea of what my color was. I was under the impression she had a very clear idea of what I was looking for.
We proceeded with a toner on the top section of my hair, which I thought was strange, I asked about it and she said she was wanting to tone down the coolness in my hair and I trusted her to know what she was doing.
After a few moments with the toner in my hair, she took me to the bowl and washed it out, put something else in my hair and left me for a few more minutes. I was not sure what she put in my hair, but I was still trusting her... She had told me she wanted to clarify my hair, so I assumed it was a part of that.
After washing everything out she brought me back to the chair and asked if I wanted her to curl my hair because she was going to style it. As she was blow drying my hair I was so frustrated as I was hit with the realization that all she was doing was a toner and I was honestly trying not to cry because I could see my hair didn't look any different... she didn't do a single thing we had discussed and my two reference photos clearly meant nothing to her.
I will take accountability for not saying something in the moment, but I was truthfully overwhelmed with emotions and I couldn't bring myself to say something at that point. I paid for the toner because that was all she charged me for, and she even said as she checked me out " We didn't do an overall color so I am just charging you for the toner"
This was the first time in ten years that I was getting my hair professionally done, and I was doing this as a birthday gift to myself. I was so excited for this change, but instead I left with my hair looking exactly the same and I was now out $145
I have been working at Starbucks part time for the last two years! I was a rehire and grateful to have an option for a supplemental income BUT I am exhausted and so ready to be done! No more doubles running from one job to another!
I submitted my last day and it’s June 18th! The day before my birthday and on my birthday I am getting my nails done 💅 ✨
