Good morning all. We are Orcus Group, a special operations veteran owned company that offers full day outdoor firearms and medical courses. We are the only company offering outdoor and full day training in Hampton Roads. Feel free to ask questions below 😎.

Our Level courses progress quickly and serve as the foundation of our curriculum. While designed to accommodate newer shooters, they’re intentionally built to challenge those with experience as well. Our students consistently find that these courses are far more comprehensive than they expected. Students without approved equivalent training start with Level I. We will consider similar 8hr training with other companies to satisfy Level II course prereqs. Contact us for approval.

We recognize there’s a huge demand for outdoor range use in Hampton Roads and want to provide students opportunities to use the property and continue to improve their proficiency. Alumni Open Range Days are now a regular part of our training program. Students who have trained with us will have recurring opportunities throughout the year to come back and use the range with our instructors. We will start by hosting one each spring, summer, and fall. During the winter, we’re also going to try to schedule range days on short notice (5–6 days) when the weather looks good. We also offer 50% off course re-takes.

This location has lodging available on the property for an additional $100/night (limited to 7 spaces). The main part we’ll use for courses goes out to approximately 250 yards. It also has a separate section that goes out to 1,000 yards.

The Williamsburg location is about 2 miles from the 64 Croaker Road exit. We only disclose the address to students who sign up for courses at the request of the property owners.

We accept courses from some other businesses as prerequisites for Level II courses on a case-by-case basis. Generally, we expect to see a similar 8-hour course of instruction.
