Vintage ring quesion

I was given this ring by my ex right before we broke up. It has noticeable tarnishing (which I'm told is what the gold poking through is from) and it clearly has some history. I've only found one other like it on etsy. They identified as a 1990's art deco style wedding stacker ring. Not sure how accurate it is, but yknow. I was curious if anyone can tell me if they have seen a ring like this before or know anything about its history or manufacturer?

Silver turning gold?

I have this ring from my ex and he bought it from eBay right before our breakup so I don't know much about it's history. He knew I preferred silver and hated gold, so when I was given this ring I was confused to see that it was stamped 925 but somehow looked like a dual tone between silver and gold. The lighting in the pictures hide it a bit, but it's still visible. I'm not sure if it's possible to be oxidization but I don't even wear it for obvious reasons. I have another ring made of silver that is starting to show signs of the same gold-ish color showing around the edges, but nowhere near as bad and I wear that one everyday.

First time donation

I'm thinking about donating at Biolife for the first time for the $750-800 compensation, but I've heard of people saying that they try to scam you and not pay you the amount advertised. Is that true?

What stone is this?

I was gifted this ring. The setting is in stamped sterling silver. The stone has two big inclusions and a bunch of minor bubble inclusions. However, despite them, it's incredibly clear that the images just suck. I was thinking diopside or tsavorite. Can anyone identify it?

CIT banking Savings connect question

As the title suggests, I am looking at the CIT savings connect account as opposed to the 3.75% interest one. I understand that the second one I mentioned required $5000 to get that interest rate, and they clearly advertise that. When I look at the second option with slightly lower interest, the savings connect option doesn't mention anything about a minimum. It makes me wonder if there is an angle I'm missing or if it really is just a good option. In general, any advice on a good starting savings account would be appreciated.
