We need to stop posting by such an account as if it is a regular member. Only way to get it to stop. The URL says app.com and it’s for Asbury Park Press.
I’m okay with regular links but this stuff with clickbait title to a paid site drives me nuts.
Congratulations to Me and Cap in Hand are on repeat for me. Guy remains so talented when he puts his head to it. Feel like last few albums have returned to greatness. Impressive to me he has so many instruments too… not an easy task on a limited budget.
Bonus points for the strong Philly accent
I loved Ryan Adams and then I resented Ryan Adams and then I laughed at Ryan Adams and now I have sympathy for Ryan Adams.
He’s probably got borderline personality disorder. He’s definitely got substance abuse issues. He’s suffering right now because he’s likely not far from major financial issues.
Some things aren’t the individual’s fault, based on medical issues, psychiatric issues, what you were exposed to / how you were brought up, or anything else. Adams is an asshole but I still choose to understand, empathize, and forgive. He’s one of the most talented songwriters out there but he’s a sick human. It’s just sad to me… no more room for judgment even if he’s getting what he has given.
Conor has had his struggles - but he’s so immensely talented and the new song is beautiful. Voice sounds a little different - more nasal / reminds me of David Lowery a little - which somehow makes it even more special
By all accounts a great person, Mary Morello was 102. Teacher and activist. Hat tip to Greg Kot for the post and pic.
Went social media silent and had no idea what the setlist would be. Really made a difference. Loved the show. Saw him three times on the prior tour including one of last times before he took time off for ulcer. This time he seemed healthy and in command. Really good show… loved the setlist, the sequencing, and the messages. Really glad I went. I agree with his ultimate message that we need to fight for the country and just be more decent citizens who debate but don’t exclude. Not enough artists are taking in this moment and saying thisZ
I have two pretty good seats (section 224) I just want face for which with fees is about $275 each. They’re the cheapest seats on StubHub in as good an area but not moving. When I post at that price the cost to purchaser goes to $349 or so. I just need to move them since I can’t make the rescheduled date and don’t live in Philly. Are there any places to post to fans in a secure way without such a markup?
Album was released in 2012 but has never been more current. Dude dedicated his career to the working man and fairness and made him sound out of touch 1990-2010 and now see what goes around comes around always. And good times come and good times go and good times come and good times go just to come again. Historically accurate while being prescient. Was going to skip this tour but keeping my tickets in Boston because I need it.
