Principles of Finance, Managerial Accounting, Financial Accounting - are these courses any good?

Are these courses good courses for learning and passing classes on other services that go by the same name?

I ask because all three of them transfer only as "electives" to UMPI. But on Study two of them transfer in as requirements for the BBA, while on Saylor, the third transfers in as a requirement for the BBA. But because the materials on Saylor absolutely suck, I was thinking about studying the hell out of and acing the Sophia courses to pick up extra elective credits, then quickly knocking these out on Study and Saylor, in order to kill two birds with one stone.

Does anyone with experience here know if this is doable? Or is the material on Study and Saylor different enough that these Sophia courses won't adequately prepare you to pass their tests?

Thanks in advance!

BBA Accounting (Fall 1 2026)

What are the easiest classes? What are the most difficult classes?

What should I look out for? How can I prepare?

Is it worth taking Business Law I and Organizational Communication via StraighterLine or should I just take those classes with UMPI? What about Intro to Financial Accounting and Managerial Accounting - should those be done through UMPI, Straighterline, or in the Study (for Financial Accounting) or Saylor (for Managerial Accounting)?

Thanks!

I know that WGU generally doesn't accept international students, but I'm a US citizen with an American passport, driver's license, street/mailing address, phone number and all that jazz - I just spend most of the year abroad.

Do you think I could get a degree while abroad or would WGU stop me from doing so?

Thanks in advance for your answers!
