Form check PPPU

Sorry, this is my second post this week.

Delete if need be.

I was doing elevated PPPU but I’m not sure if my regular ones are even being done correctly.

Posted two videos here , 1 set each.

Please critique and let me know what I need improvement on.

Can’t hold tuck planche

Before I quit calisthenics like 2 years ago, I was able to do tuck planche so easy as a beginner ( I think because I was lifting). I was also doing tuck planche push ups already.

But now it seems impossible to hold tuck planche only 5 seconds. Progress has been a bit slow.

https://imgur.com/a/xt5RrUc

Video of the longest I can hold at the moment.

Should I keep doing

3 second tuck holds for 3 sets,

3 sets of elevated pseudo planche push up (6-8 reps)

3 sets of dips (8-10 reps)

3 sets of supine front raises dumbbells 8-15 reps

1080p gaming vs 1440p gaming

I’m looking for some advice on choosing a new gaming monitor, mainly for Apex Legends.

My current setup

I built my PC in 2020. I don’t remember the exact CPU, but my GPU is an RTX 2060 Super.

I currently play on a 27-inch 1080p 144Hz monitor.

Recently, I’ve noticed that my FPS in Apex Legends seems to be dropping compared to what I used to get.

At the same time, I’ve been wanting to experience 240Hz gaming, and I’ve also been reading more about 1440p and the benefits of moving to that resolution.

My situation

I’m moving to Colombia for about 6 months and I’m bringing my current PC with me, but I’m not bringing my monitor.

That leaves me with two questions:

  1. What monitor should I buy for the next 6 months?

Since I’ll be using my RTX 2060 Super, would it make sense to buy a:

•	27-inch 1440p 144Hz monitor, or

•	27-inch 1080p 144/165Hz monitor?

I’m wondering if the RTX 2060 Super is powerful enough to make 1440p worthwhile, especially for competitive games like Apex Legends.

  1. What should I buy for my future PC?

When I return to the USA, I plan to build a completely new gaming PC.

For that system, I’m considering a 27-inch 240Hz monitor, but I’m unsure whether I should go with:

•	27-inch 1440p 240Hz, or

•	27-inch 1080p 240Hz.

I’ve never played on a 24-inch monitor, and I’m already very comfortable with 27 inches. I’ve heard that 1080p isn’t ideal on a 27-inch display because the pixel density is relatively low, but honestly, I’ve been perfectly happy with my current 27-inch 1080p monitor.

What would you recommend?

Would it make more sense to:

Option A: Buy a 27-inch 1440p 144Hz monitor now for my RTX 2060 Super, then upgrade to a 27-inch 1440p 240Hz monitor when I build my new PC?

Or would it be better to stay with 1080p for competitive Apex and prioritize higher FPS/refresh rates?

Thank you!!!

Losing fat

Sorry, I don’t know if I’m allowed to post this here.

Wanting to lose fat 32M

I just did an evaluation.

**I am 32 male, 185lb at 5’9 with 29% body fat**.

I’m very sedentary as I work 8 hours on my laptop

Then I do my calisthenics workouts which is

3 excersise totaling to 9 sets. Followed by 15 min of light cardio.

Then back to being on my laptop for school work.

The guy who did my evaluation told me I should eat 2100 calories to lose weight.

However, looking up all these tdee calculators it shows I should eat around 1600-1800 calories to lose weight.

I’m a bit confused but very motivated to lose this weight.

I don’t know if anyone can give me some input.

Thank you

Mixing skills work with strength training.

In currently doing pull push split.

However I don’t know how sets I should be doing when I’m doing skill work plus strengths training.

Couple weeks ago I was doing

4 workouts with 4 sets.

For example:

Pull ups 4 sets

Chin ups 4 sets

Tuck raises or ice cream makers 4 sets

Tuck holds 4 sets

But I feel like I wanted more intensity and more structure

Here’s what I plan on doing for now on. Open to advice and correction because I don’t know how to properly program skill work and strength work

Here’s an example:

PUSH DAY

  1. Skill Work (do first)

Planche Lean

•	5 sets × 10–30 seconds

•	Rest: 60–90 sec

•	Goal to progress: 5 × 30 sec with clean form

Frog Stand

•	5 sets × 10–20 seconds

•	Rest: 60–90 sec

•	Goal to progress: 5 × 20 sec controlled

Tuck L-Sit

•	5 sets × 10–20 seconds

•	Rest: 60–90 sec

•	Goal to progress: 5 × 20 sec

⸻

  1. Strength Work

Push-ups

•	3–5 sets × 8–12 reps

•	Goal: 5 × 12 clean reps

Dips

•	3–5 sets × 5–8 reps

•	Goal: 5 × 8 clean reps

Pike Push-ups

•	3–5 sets × 6–10 reps

•	Goal: 5 × 10 clean reps

***Doing 3 sets of each for now ****

PULL DAY:

1) Skill Work

Tuck Front Lever Hold

•	5 sets × 10–20 sec

•	Progress when you can do 5 × 20 sec

Tuck Front Lever Rows

•	4 sets × 3–6 reps

•	Slow controlled reps

•	Progress when you reach 4 × 8 reps

Tuck Ice Cream Makers

•	3 sets × 5–8 reps

Tuck Raises

•	4 sets × 8–12 reps

•

⸻

  1. Strength Work

Pull-ups

•	5 sets × 3–5 reps

•	Goal: 5 × 8 clean pull-ups

Chin-ups

•	3 sets × 5–8 reps

•	Goal: 3 × 10

Lab diamond engagement ring

Looking to buy a Diamond engagement ring

Buying this Ring in Colombia. I bought an emerald ring from him already. He has a legit store in a malll.

However he gave me a price of $1300

With these specifications:

4 gram gold rings 18k

4 lab diamonds at .05 ct each

Center diamond 1.10 ct

Color: D

Vs1

Cut: excellent

I’ll put pictures of the ring I want and the pictures of the diamond he sent me.

Any red flags ?

I can also post 2 videos he sent me , if needed.

Thank you!
