Shorts too short?
First of all: please excuse my make-shift photo studio - I did the best with what I had!
Second: I have recently bought a pair of five inch in-seam shorts and they feel too short for me. I've been wearing 7 inch (down from out-of-date on-the-knee shorts) for a year and appreciate that they're a little cooler in the Florida summer.
What does the sub say?

Do they have any practical function?
I don't want to be an @$$hole but every time I see someone with them fitted to their bikes all I can think is: "Cute, my sister had those on her bicycle when she was 5 yrs. old".

Slingshot valve.
I need a nozzle or hose that fits a Slingwing V3. Does anyone know where I can get one?
As I understand: their valve is proprietary and I can’t find one online anywhere. I don’t want to buy a whole new pump as I already have two spares.

I bought these Alen Edmonds for an absolute steal because of the stain on the right one. I'm not sure what the stain is (some kind of oil, I assume) but does anyone have any suggestions on how to fix?
