as the run on sentence kept getting longer, with misplaced semicolons; odd quotes that should have ended the sentence, commas littered around like confetti and popped balloons after a birthday party; an incoherent mash of words that would drive Emily Bronte herself, the queen of long sentences that require you to read them four times just to catch the idea, to say, “ oh my god you need to end your sentence please” as she shudders in disbelief at how desperately you are trying to stretch a single sentence just to make your terrible little story fit the theme of a two-sentence horror subreddit, even though she has no idea what a subreddit is and would abhor the idea of attempting to fit an entire story into two sentences, as if that was enough to portray the twisted beauty and profound eeriness of a true horror tale that would survive the ages: a delight for minds of all backgrounds to revel in.
