BTR5 vs BTR7 vs other alternative amp

I recently got my BTR5 out and have been loving using wired headphones with my phone again. I was wondering if any upgrade would be worth it in everyone's eyes. I usually run earbuds with it but have some harder to run headphones I'd like to be able to use as well. I was thinking of holding onto my current BTR5 until a friend's birthday comes up and giving it to them once I get my replacement.

Also, in case I don't upgrade I still would like to give them a bluetooth amp since I know they'd be into it. Any recommendations for good cheap ones are also plenty welcome! I haven't shopped for audio equipment much in years so I'm fairly out of the loop on what the scene is like now (last thing I remember eyeing was the FiiO K9 Pro right after a factory caught fire and the ESS became the only version you could buy).

Upcoming follow-up to Jelly 2 or Jelly Star?

I almost bought a Jelly Star at the beginning of this year after being so dissatisfied with my monstrously large Samsung Note 20 Ultra but had to spend the money on something else. I'm (hopefully) starting a new job soon and I was thinking of treating myself to an upgrade after I get my first couple of paychecks.

I really like the Jelly Star but am a little worried with how old it is. It still will fit all of my needs really well and worst case I can see myself being happy with it, but I'd hate to buy it only for a more modern version of it that will be supported security-wise for longer to be announced a month after. Should I hold off at all or should I just go for it? Not the biggest deal ever since it's only $200 but I'd still prefer to spend that $200 well. The Jelly Max is cool but is still a little big for me and it missing a 3.5mm jack is pretty big (I use wired headphones with a FiiO bluetooth amp quite often so not having to carry another device on me would be really nice).

Test for THC?

I've been thinking of applying to ubreakifix since I think it would be a great fit for me. I don't regularly smoke and certainly don't do it on the job, but I do often enough with friends that it would trip a test (THC stays in my system for a while). Am I okay or should I make sure I stop completely for a bit?
