Do you think it plays games three times as fast?
Just got my birthday present for the year. Apparently my whole family secretly pooled money together to get this for me since I just started collecting old video game consoles.

Hey guys, just started working my way through SRW 64 this week and I'm kinda working my ways through all fkyr protagonists at the same time. However, I'm coming up to the big faction based route splits and wanted some advice.

I've got four Protagonists: Arclight, Selain, Brad, and Manami.

And I've got four factions: Romefellers, OZ, Sanc Kingdom, and Independent Army.

Beyond knowing these routes exist I don't know what each route actually entails from a story perspective. So I'm hoping that some people more familiar with the game could give me advice on which faction/route each of my protagonists should take. I know that technically they can all do whatever route I want but I wanted the opinions pf those who had played the game and what they prefer. Thanks guys, I appreciate any advice given.
I've been thinking a lot lately about various mecha anime that have timeskips or particularly long time lines and how Super Robot Wars has handled that in the past. Sometimes they only adapt a certain time period from an anime, others they just ignore that there even is one and just try to cram as much content in there.

So, I'm curious what everyone's favorite way they've handled a tricky anime like this in Super Robot Wars and what/how they would tackle this problem if they had to adapt a timeskip anime into Super Robot Wars.
Hey guys, posted last week asking for recommendations as I was starting my journey into Tokusatsu. Link is here: https://www.reddit.com/r/Tokusatsu/s/k6dwH8o5HF
Well, turns out I asked you guys at a good point in my life because the day after I posted it I ended up in the ER and now have to get surgery tomorrow. I'm told it'll be 6 to 8 weeks before I'm allowed back to work. So I've got a lot of free time on my hands now.
I figured I'd let you guys know that I've pretty much settled on the first 10 series that I plan to watch, kinda wanted to see how folks felt about it.
2-4. Ultraman Max, Kamen Rider Kuuga, and Jetman - I thought it would be neat to jump a bit ahead for each of the big three and pick a decent standalone series.
5-7. Ultraman, Kamen Rider, and Gorenger - After getting a slight taste of more modern titles I immediately wanted to go back and really hit the foundational series.
8-10. Kamen Rider Wizard, Magiranger, and Ryukendo - And then the final thing I currently have planned out for the beginning of my journey are these three fantasy/magic adjacent series. Thought it would be fun to see this little subset of Tokusatsu.
And well, that's what I have planned. With any luck I'll be able to record my journey somehow and maybe a few of you will even stumble upon it. Regardless, wish me luck on that surgery and I genuinely appreciate all of the comments and suggestions I got on my post last week. Thanks guys.
Hey everyone need some advice as a bit of an outsider to Tokusatsu.
To give a bit of background without rambling much: my therapist is worried about me and wants me to both expand my hobbies and get a creative outlet. I like Godzilla and mecha anime, never delved into stuff like Ultraman or Kamen Rider despite it aligning with all my tastes.
Basically, I thought it would be neat to chronicle my start and journey through Tokusatsu, no idea if that means blogging, making videos, whatever, doesn't matter right now and I'm certainly not here to advertise.
I watched and used Acrimony Toku's "100 Toku Shows to Watch Before You Die" video to build a list of Toku shows. However, he even says in the video he easily could've put more series on this list.
So my question for you guys is twofold: 1. Are there any Tokusatsu shows that you think are more on the obscure side that I should look into at some point and 2. Are their any shows that you don't think get covered very often for whatever reason and may benefit from someone new to the genre looking at it and putting their experience out there?
I really appreciate you guys taking the time to read this and I'd genuinely love to talk Tokusatsu stuff with you down in the comments or wherever.
Just started unpacking stuff in my new house and wanted to share the few mecha related things I've found at Flea Markets so far this year. Figured someone might find it a little neat what you can find tucked away in Appalachian Pennsylvania.
Sidenote: I'm ready to be the pilot of the Gordam Fannel. Put me in coach.
