Feedback on site please :)

Hi all! I’m looking for some fresh eyes on a squarespace website I’ve been working on. I’ve revised it so many times that I’ve completely lost my ability to judge it objectively.

I’d really appreciate feedback on things like first impressions, fonts and sizing, colors, imagery, copy, section layout/order, value proposition, clarity of the services, and the overall flow. Also, any pointers welcomed.

The main goal is to make sure the site is clear, appealing, and does a good job of turning visitors into customers. I’m especially interested in anything that feels confusing, unnecessary, or could be improved.

Thanks in advance for taking a look!

Want to share a resource that helped me

Hi all, I had an unknown type of neurological event in January 2022 which best guess it was some kind of ABI. Long story short- my personality, sense of self, ability to talk and walk normally, and a bunch of other symptoms piled up in the days following the thunderclap headache event which have up to now permanently changed my life and perception.

I am not back to normal functioning, but I have made big strides in improvement and have hope that more time and right decisions will continue to take the edge off of the hell my life became. I want to share some stuff that I have seen definitive no doubt improvements from as I haven't really seen them shared.

The three most substantial things that helped my brain specifically have been:

  1. High dose fish oil + SPM(specialized pro resolving mediators) daily

  2. Low Dose Naltraxone

  3. Nervous system regulation practices daily, hourly, and when I was really messed up --minute to minute.

The high dose fish oil didn't kick into gear until I added the SPM's. I hadn't heard of them before and so I want to mention it specifically because it was only when I added the SPM's that my personality and cognitive function started obviously undoubtedly returning and improving. It took roughly 4 weeks for my cognitive signs to show up, but wow, did the SPM's help in ways the fish oil didn't do anything by themselves.

These combined with LDN have given me my personality, brain, proper immune function, and overall physical health and durability back.

After now nearly 2 years on high dose fish oil and SPM combo along with daily LDN, I can run my own business from home and my memory is getting better and better. My energy is still not back to any sort of normal, but I can run errands, make plans, mow the lawn, and work on a computer without feeling like I pay for it with days of recovery.

I won't detail nervous system regulation here, because there is a lot available online about how to do it. The best advice I have is to pick simple methods and do them often. Things like grounding, orienting, breathing, tapping, and vagal toning have all been things I do all day long to help teach my body to not freak out. I'd say I'm 50% back to 'normal' which doesn't sound great but actually it really is. I wasn't 100% before the event, so I'd say I'm heading towards at least the normal version of function I had when it happened, which is awesome. That me could manage to work, have a house, and do the basics. After losing everything, that is incredible and I'll take it. Plus this all gives me hope that more improvement might be possible as I continue taking these meds and supplements and trying more things for brain healing.

I hope this helps someone, I know this road is rough as hell and everything can feel like a hail mary pass from post brain injury. I wish I had known about these things at the beginning, could have saved me 3 years of stress and uneventful recovery time.

Good luck brains.

Would anyone be interested in a local CPTSD recovery book club/discussion group?

I'm imagining a peer-led space for people who have already spent time in therapy and trauma recovery work where we can talk about what this phase of recovery is actually like.

The idea would be to read chapters from a recovery-focused book on our own time and then use it as a container for discussion, reflection, and sharing personal experiences. I'm thinking a bi-weekly meeting, around 60–90 minutes, with some structured talking points to help us reflect on both the material and our own lives. We'll pick a book that everyone wants to read and is centered on recovery and more complex recovery themed topics.

This would not be a therapy group, support group, coaching group, crisis space, or a group for people who are new to trauma recovery or in active acute trauma. I have years of recovery work under my belt and am looking for a place to connect with others who speak the same language and understand the challenges and realities of long-term 'healing', growth, grief, relationships, identity shifts, and building a life beyond survival mode.

I have a lost of books in mind and I've been wishing something like this existed and am curious whether others would be interested. I'd likely start online to keep it simple and accessible over the summer and then see where it goes from there. I want it to be mostly comprised of locals so that people can build connection(and me too). If it goes well, an ongoing club could be cool. If you're interested or know of something like this already happening in the area, please drop a comment or send me a dm.

Thanks!

Online Pet Loss Support Groups -- starting next month

Hi everyone! I’m Dani, a local grief recovery and life transitions coach, and I’ll be hosting two small 6-week online pet loss support groups next month for anyone navigating the loss of a pet or animal companion.

There will be two options available:
Weekday evening group Tuesdays 6:30-8:30 pm June 2-July 7, 2026
Weekend late afternoon group Sundays 4:00 pm-6:00 pm June 14-July 19, 2026

These groups are designed to be structured, supportive, grounded, and gentle spaces to process grief with others who understand the bond we have with our animals. This is for processing loss of any type whether it be from death or other reason, and of any animal from dogs, cats, birds, reptiles, and rodents to larger animals like goats and horses. Everyone is welcome.

I’ve attached the flyer with contact details. Feel free to message me with any questions, and here's a link to book a free 15-minute call with me if you'd like to reserve your spot in a group: Book a free discovery call

Have a lovely day
