San Diego Stays

I am going to San Diego for a small weekend trip in September with my boyfriend. I want to stay by the beach and I'm torn between Pacific Beach Area or La Jolla and I want to visit both. I feel like it might be worth getting a rental car, even if it is for the day. I mostly just need hotel stay recommendations that fit in my budget. Im thinking like $550-$600 for the two night stay.

I barely have an itinerary so give me ideas if you have any also!

lock out question

I have been staying in UV over the summer and because I was moved out of KSU place they are allowing us to stay in the same room during the school year.

Last Tuesday when I came home from work I was locked out of my building and my dorm. I contacted the RA on call, and provided them with my name, KSU ID and proof I’m basically allowed to be in my dorm. They were able to contact a supervisor and troubleshoot it completely virtually and it was working fine afterwards. Last night it happened again but when I called the RA on call, I told them how it was handled previously and she just said that I need to wait until Monday to go to the Talon One Center. I asked her once again could she just contact her supervisor and she said she would see what she could do, and hasn’t done anything. It’s nothing against her I’m just not tryna continuously call her.

Is this happening to anyone else and if so, is there someone else I could contact? It’s frustrating having to reach out to her all weekend when I have to leave just get back in my room or having to leave my door open when I get home from work so late. If anyone has any suggestions lmk!

Planning Birthday Trip

I am planning a trip for my 21st. I decided to start doing trips a couple years ago and I’ve seen a majority of the southeast states, I am from Georgia. I typically just go to another city for a day or two and just explore with a friend. Last year I went to New York and it was amazing. I want to try somewhere on the western side this year. My birthday is in January so it will be cold regardless of where I go but give me recommendations for your favorite places you’ve visited. I’m open to literally anything!

Where to stay and what to do

I’m going to San Diego in September, just to see another side of the country. It’s just me and my boyfriend and I’m trying to find a nice but affordable place to stay. I’m thinking like $500-600 for two nights max.

Also if anyone has any recommendations for what to do there lmk because I was just going to kinda go with flow but the more I look into it I feel like I should have somewhat of a plan haha. I want to try the beach but something tells me it will be a little chilly. I definitely want to visit la jolla though! Also I’m only 20 so going out would be kinda tough but manageable if you’re picking up what I’m putting down.
