What does it mean to be upper middle class? Salary, savings, luxuries- what does it look like for you?

I feel like the definition of upper middle class varies so much depending on where you live, family size, debt, lifestyle, etc., so I’m curious what it looks like in real life.
For those who consider themselves upper middle class:

● editing to add -Your Age range
● What is your household income?
● How much do you have in savings and investments?
● Do you own a home? What is your mortgage like?
● What kind of cars do you drive?
● How often do you travel or take vacations?
● What luxuries do you regularly spend money on?
● What do you still consider “too expensive” or have to budget carefully for?
● Most importantly, do you actually feel upper middle class?

🦖 SECOND EDIT: how long have you been making the income that you’re making right now?

I’m genuinely curious about the difference between the income level on paper and the actual lifestyle that comes with it.

Earlier classes- 4:30 AM crew?

I know this sounds absolutely insane, however, I do wish there were a select number of locations regionally that offered 430 or 4 AM classes.

There are some weeks that even a 5 AM class is too much of a late start for me because of how demanding my day job is.

Anyone else as insane as I am? 😅

Edit to add: I’m in MA, USA

I lost my dog and I haven’t been able to go to OTF for the last two months

The title pretty much sums it up. I know this sounds crazy, but I’ve never felt grief in the capacity that I have. the depression has hit me like no one else and my stress load has increased at work and so I haven’t gone to OTF but I think that that’s been a mistake but every time I get myself to running my body just wants to cry and so I just start crying on the treadmill and I don’t know what to do. Maybe I just have more crying sessions on the treadmill? It’s like as soon as I get my body flowing tears just start flowing. I want to get back into flow of going to Orangetheory every morning because it helps me so much. What should I do?

Regional salary- added sites - help!

Hey everyone,

My portfolio recently doubled from 5 to 10 properties in the Boston area. All of my sites range from 90 units to 250 units- with a mix of affordable and market and class B and C properties. I work for a pretty large management company, but this is definitely one of the more sophisticated management companies than what I’ve worked for in the past. What should my salary expectations be? Should I even ask about an increase?

I’m currently at $125k.
