Hello

I have suffered with gout for twenty years, sometimes stopping me working or attending family events (wrist gout was bloody awful).

I’ve finally been prescribed Allopurinal after reluctance from me and then my doctor.

I have had a flare up for a few weeks, now fading to a stiff ankle.
I was told I need to be gout free before starting the Allopurinal. Is this correct?

I’m on holiday in four weeks and want to allow the medication to kick in and allow me to enjoy my break.

I ask the question in the belief if you like Bond films, you have good taste and there may be some films I can watch in the future from your top 10.
