My heart though goes out to the Phoenix players getting their faces played in when Jean didn't get any chromas or an ult vfx option. Really getting tired of them getting away with the constant inconsistency in quality.

I've talked the idea over with friends before, and was in the process of doing a mini-rework of Storm. I saw Beneficial_Pin5295's lovely concept from yesterday (go check out their idea as well, it looks fun!), and decided to finish up mine. Please, let me know what you think!

Key takeaways with my concept:

• Thor team-up integrated into base kit.
• New ability to use her current Goddess Boost in a selfish way vs being only team-oriented.
• Jeff Team-up stays, but replaces Thor with Luna for an icy themed defensive option.
• Numbers would get adjusted accordingly to bonuses and base stats.

Benevolent Goddess usage would be to expand her weather aura enable your team, basically being how Storm works currently, while new Goddess Boost works to recall that aura to increase your personal capabilities.

Both of these abilities share the same active cooldown timer, so you will need to judge accordingly on when to use what. The idea would be that the aura would stay expanded/retracted based on the last ability you used. So for example, you pop Benevolent Goddess, the radius of the passive buffs will persist around you for your team. Using the ability again would just activate the Slow/summon lightning in the spell field.

Goddess Boost would be your main way to secure kills and provide pressure with Thunder, while Tornado form would give Storm the speed necessary to not be such a sitting duck in the air and escape tough situations a lot better. Active effect allows for Chain Lightning instead of the AoE lightning spell effect, rewarding those who are able to land their shots. Tornado would allow you to kite the battlefield much easier, allowing for more reliable movement.

Movement Speed Bonuses:

• Passive (Selfless)- 16% to self, 8% to allies
• Passive (Selfish)- 30% to self
• Active (Selfless)- 40% to self, 20% to allies
• Active (Selfish)- 60% to self

Damage Boost Bonuses:

• Passive (Selfless)- 12% to self, 8% to allies
• Passive (Selfish)- 16% to self
• Active (Selfless) 25% to self, 12% to allies
• Active (Selfish)- 35% self

Since Thor team-up becomes base kit, Luna (or Iceman if he gets a spot in the roster at some point. Preferably Bobby) will be around to add in some ideas for survivability, augmenting wind to be cold or a blizzard rather. Blizzard Aura would grant a 10% damage reduction base, with Luna actively in the team granting 15%. Cold Wave is only accessible in Tornado/Blizzard form in the enhanced team-up, so that you can use it to catch diving enemies or make picks with your team. Ideally will be lower damage compared to Bolt Rush to compensate.

I sincerely hope there'll be a second wave of the pajama costumes, because this literally would've been perfect for Emma, if you wanted to do a high fashion boudoir robe, or give her a Jeff onesie to match with her baby.

I love Rogue, but why are we putting her in her pj's without Remy's involvement (but Erik gets to match with her, Devs are messy🤭)?

So, things have begun to cool down and Storm enjoyers have gotten their voices heard leading to a big victory for her fans and members of the black community. Preemptively making this post as there's been plenty of folks all over the internet making comments of Jean's newest Hellfire Gala skin, downplaying the reasons for why Storm's skin was met with outrage with statements along the lines of:

"Jean's skin is epic, while Scott's is legendary??? Net Ease must be sexist/racist!"

And while yes, it can be seen as a joke (timing definitely way too early for it to be remotely funny), there are some people who actually are trying to run with this idea to further belittle the situation. It was never just about pixels, it's about the poor representation and handling that Storm, Blade, BP, and Cloak have dealt with for a while.

We are happy that the community has spoken up, calling out the mistreatment, especially all you beautiful queens showing your support as well! While we are currently in the eye of the storm so to speak, I feel it is a perfect moment to make sure that everyone here is and will be on the same page going forward.

No racist remarks/bigotry/hate speech/etc. of any kind will be tolerated.

Should be self-explanatory. No nasty remarks to your peers, mentions about things said in other subs, and no nasty remarks about the developers. We can call out the mistreatment without being so insensitive as referring to Danny Koo as a member of the KKK. We also do not have to pay attention to what bad apples in other subs say/do/think. Let's not give them the attention or reaction they are looking for.

Death Threats and the like are not and will never be acceptable.

Also self-explanatory. While some very vocal parties may have resorted to harsh methods that doesn't mean all parties who wanted Storm to get better treatment are equally guilty.

If you do not agree with or understand the situation at play, be civil with your statements.

Contrary to popular belief, we are not a hivemind. Everyone has their own opinions, even if it's a really bad hot take, and I've seen some REALLY bad takes. The important thing for any serious matter such as this is to remain respectful and practice empathy; we can discuss talking points without resorting to name-calling, unnecessary sass, or sarcastic remarks towards your peers. If you don't understand why people were furious, make an attempt to learn why they felt that way.

If you still cannot see the issue as nothing more than "complaining about pixels" then just agree to disagree and leave it there vs belittling someone else's feelings. The block button is your bff to use if you need to move on from a conversation that is getting nowhere.

Don't want to see any of the following:

• "If you want representation build your own game"
• "its just stupid ...then i can call the hulk skin issue racism against green people?"
• "Except it isn’t racism🤡"
• "Professional victims"
• "leave it to Americans to be offended about everything and put their energy into the most trivial stuff."

Any statements of pure hated or lack of empathy that read "I came here looking to pick a fight," will get you the boot. Simple as that. If you feel a mistake has been made, or have learned from your actions you can still reach out to make an appeal about your case.
