In other kdramas (about a 100 now if I had to guess) I’ve just sort of sat through the romance bits, but here it’s just so captivating. Just watching the two of them clash and talk is more rich and entertaining than the entirety of a lot of other dramas. And the end of ep 8 literally made my hairs stand on end.
If theyve planned the resolution with the same energy and diligence of the setup this could be an all timer. And this is not even mentioning just how skilful and effective Heo Nam-jun in particular is. In this episode specifically he was unbelievable, his face and expressions in the fake trial scene were just agonising while the impromptu date was the complete opposite.
I need to stop writing before I reel off another couple of hundred words but wow, this is the drama of the year so far.
