DC2 Teggy vs S2000 AP1

Hi all,

Currently drive a GT86 but looking to move to an old Hondeezy because that was the dream as a kid (and I want an engine that sounds like it wants to be rev’d)

Managed to whittle my options down to the two Hondas in the title. What would your guys’ pick be?

I like having backseats purely for storage but could definitely live without them. I’m a spirited backroads driver but they both handle great in different ways. I am looking for a car that inspires a bit of confidence though.

997 Variant or Late 00s GT-R

I'll keep it short (hopefully)

I've found myself in the position to buy a second hand dream car

I'm a spirited driver and currently own a Toyota GT86, which I've enjoyed though wouldn't mind a little more torque here or there, but I digress...

I'm looking for what would ideally be a forever car. I get attached to my cars no matter how shitbox-y they are. When I traded my old beaten Fiat Panda in for my 86, I felt horrible. Like it had worked so hard only for me to get rid of it for something shiny. TL:DR I like to keep my cars a long time preferably, and get used to living with their quirks and characteristics.

Apart from the above, I'm looking for something that's got more than enough power and handling for British A-Roads and countryside routes (as this is typically where I drive when not commuting to work) as well as something that's quite happy on the motorway when I'm forced to.

My partner has a vehicle so practicality isn't a huge deal for me. Giving someone a lift doesn't happen all too often but I'd like something a little better than the shelf the 86 provides for when it does have to happen.

Most importantly though, I want something that's bills won't kill me when it comes up to MOT time, or servicing time. What's less likely to break my heart? With that said, I love cars a lot and won't mind spending my own time wrenching on it.

These are two fast (I'm not talking about tiktok fast), well handling, but rather different cars and I like both in their own ways so much that it's become difficult to choose.

I'd like to hear your take, which do you think is the better option?

Hi there,

Mustang fan from the UK. Looking at a new car for the summer and the idea of a Mustang is always lurking at the back of my head.

As much as I love the recent Mach 1, justifying the purchase is difficult.

That said, I came across a Roush S197 with 60k on the clock for £21,000. It’s in good condition and has had very little in the way of repairs needed over the years. Unfortunately when it comes to Roush I really don’t know much of anything.

The usual GT badge is replaced with a “Stage 1” which I’m aware is a level of Roush trim, but I have no idea what comes as standard with these cars?

Comes with the Roush interior and the supercharger, but for some reason I was under the impression that Stage 1 meant it was more of a cosmetic modification

TL;DR: Is this worth looking at, and what do the stages actually mean? Hell, what’s the model name for this car?
