I've been invited to do a vinyl DJ set next month. The guy who I'm sharing the decks with asked me last night if I have a DJ name. I do not.
I'm thinking of using a Pulp reference in the DJ name. Something that's under three syllables and easy to remember. Bonus if it's "if you're a Pulp fan, you'll know"
Any ideas?

Coincidentally I was wearing a Pixies tour shirt when this came up today. It's one of my favourites. The design is kinda like those holy cards people get in church, but with the iconic monkey replacing the saint (you can find it on the band's online store). I'm fond of tee designs that are not a replica of album covers and little keepsakes that you don't see anywhere else (road signs, candy/lolly tins, coffee mugs, even band torches called light sticks!)
Do you have any memorable merch from an artist that appears on the list (including the user list)?

Flexible on most things. Solo presenter or panel. Interview, analysis or "the story of" format. Hosted by industry names or a group of friends who are music lovers. Any genre, any era. Format doesn't matter for me, what does matter is that the presenter/s are well researched and engaging. Bonus if the episodes are uncensored and available on Spotify.

Anyone else making a playlist as they go?
I have two. The first has one song from most albums in the generator. The other is my own version of the 1001 Albums list- a collection of classics, glaring omissions and deep cuts.

Maybe a feature request for the pinned posts? But also, it's out of curiosity...
I have found lists and Reddit posts of what albums were removed from the book... Except the ones I've found don't say **when** the album was added or removed from *what edition*. I don't have a copy of the book with me to cross-check. But do you?
This is more to see if there is a trend or pattern. As we know, it's usually the titles in the back of the book that are the easiest for Mr Dimery (the general editor) to cull. I've often wondered if there is a genre bias or something.
