17C opportunities other than a CPT???
Anybody know of any Reserve 17C opportunities other than a typical CPT? I’ve been in a CPT for 4 years and looking for something new. I’m a red teamer on the civilian side. Work in aerospace engineering.

Saw this on a goarmy ad. Pumpkin patch on one side. What’s on the other?
Tried to send an email to the 108th about DS recruiting and got an auto response that they wouldn’t be around after 1 Oct. Who is handling USAR DS recruiting after 1 Oct?
The Dashboard help doesn't specify. It looks like this is rules specifically for the practical though because it lists a 15 minute break and the CEH knowledge test doesn't allow a break.
Does anyone know where/if "open book" rules exist? I've done a lot of searching and answers seem to be all over the place, especially regarding AI.
Trying to get on as a cyber enabler. Their support page doesn’t list 17 series, but if their contact form does. I just wanted to make sure that site was legit since it wasn’t a .mil or .gov site.
A year or so ago I got an email from a DS unit in my state. I reached out, we had a few conversations. They wanted me to come RST with them for a drill. I was pretty interested but I thought I needed to spend a little more time in my MOS before moving on.
Found out recently that unit doesn’t support BCT, they support MP AIT. I’m not an MP and don’t know MP stuff. They knew this but still seemed interested. So how would that work? Would they send me to MP AIT as an E6? If that’s how it works does it also work that way for 11B DS units?
I’ve noticed that when you filter for “short tours” on TOD most of the ending dates are 30 September. Am I right to assume that these are not actually short tours, but just indicate the end of the fiscal year and someone selected for that tour would be expected to stay on if funding was renewed?
Are there actually any short tours? If the end date is any other time, can I assume that’s the actual end date?
MOS heavily over strength in officers and under strength in warrants. Some officers being encouraged to switch over to WO. If they do this, is there a path back to officer if they want?
I’ve read someone who is enlisted can go warrant and then resign their commission and go back to their previous enlisted rank if they can find a slot to take them. But I don’t see if there’s a similar process if you went to warrant from officer.
Looking at the LTP reimbursement for flight school / pilot license. Cool benefit I never would have considered before working at Boeing.
Any flight school recommendations in the STL area? Fixed wing or rotary? Any general thoughts or tips?
Would like to improve my Russian language skills. There’s a Russian school near by that does tutoring. All of their tutors are Russian natives. I realize I’d would probably have to report a foreign contact… but what happens from there?
Would like to start using the 101 fitness center, but I can get a little weird about feeling like I’m in someone’s way.
It looks like there’s a hex bar in there, but no deadlift platform. Do people just deadlift anywhere or does that bar not get used (hence why it’s tucked behind the door)?
Also, I see 3 benches but I don’t see a dedicated bench press station. Do people bench in the power rack?
I know there’s a second fitness center in 306. I’m going to head over that way and check it out as well.
Can someone help me find the office symbol for USAR 187 CPT (for Sheridan Illinois) and the corresponding BN 303dCYBN.
I can’t get logged on to ARIMS. None links I’m finding actually take me to a usable search - even on AVD.
