How do you stay consistent with exercise while dealing with medication side effects?

I’m curious about other people’s experiences with staying consistent with exercise, especially when dealing with side effects from medication such as dizziness and general fatigue.

My experience has been pretty difficult. I’ve struggled not only with actually starting exercise, but also with staying consistent. I often end up avoiding exercise altogether, or constantly switching from one type of exercise to another instead of sticking with something long enough.

Has anyone here managed to stay consistent with exercise for a long period of time despite dealing with medication side effects like dizziness, fatigue, or low energy?

If so, did your body eventually adapt to the side effects, or did you have to change the way you approached exercise? I’d really like to hear about your personal experiences.

Did the dizziness and blurred vision from Trileptal improve over time

I previously tried Trileptal (oxcarbazepine) for mood stabilization and impulsivity, but I experienced noticeable dizziness, blurred vision, and difficulty concentrating.

For people who have taken Trileptal, did these side effects improve after your body adjusted to the medication? If so, approximately how long did it take?

I’m mainly interested in hearing about personal experiences. Did the dizziness, blurred vision, and concentration problems eventually get better, or did they continue for as long as you were taking it?

Carbamazepine (Tegretol) vs. Oxcarbazepine (Trileptal) — do the side effects of Trileptal improve over time?

I’m currently taking Tegretol (carbamazepine), but I’m considering switching to another medication because carbamazepine has quite a lot of drug interactions.

I previously tried Trileptal (oxcarbazepine), but I experienced quite noticeable side effects, mainly blurred vision, difficulty concentrating, and dizziness.

For those who have taken Trileptal: did these side effects improve after your body adjusted to the medication, or did they continue long-term? If they improved, roughly how long did it take?

I’m taking a mood stabilizer mainly to help with impulsivity and mood stabilization, so I’d also be interested in hearing about other people's experiences with Trileptal for these reasons.

I’m not looking for medical advice or a recommendation to switch medications — I’d just like to hear about people's personal experiences with these side effects and whether they got better over time.
