As the title suggests, I’m looking for both hardware and software advice for putting my 1st gen back in rotation. I bought it new back when and you can see from the playlists when I put it aside. Still works, still charges but definitely doesn’t keep it for too long. I have the original firewire block. So, what are my best options to put new tunes on it on a regular basis, and any any suggestions for necessary ‘upgrades’? Bonus points if anyone knows how to recreate an old image hack that allowed me to turn a mp4 into stills that could be uploaded to it and played like a kinetoscope using the wheel?!?!
In 1928 a group of Oregon students made what is considered the first 35mm feature film produced by college students. It is a romantic comedy in which the titular Ed, who works at the family lumber mill comes to UO for his freshman year and chaos and hijinks ensue. The film is being shown for free to all this Wednesday evening at 7pm in 156 Straub Hall. The best part of it all is that the film will be accompanied by a killer five piece band, including some world class musicians playing an original score. Truly fun for the whole family, and an amazing glimpse at Eugene 100 years ago.
Thanks a million! Definitely not a rolex, he took the time to locate best version of not super sought after model and delivered a beaut.
Drove home on 58 from SR on Monday, got excited to see cars parked in front of Stuarts as we went through Oakridge, brief dreams of O rings and a good burger, only to be crushed to see it’s been replaced with a taco joint.
Always seemed popular, even w the minimal hours, sad someone didn’t take up the mantle.
I am a professor down in Eugene and was up in Portland this past week and drove by a Morgan & Morgan SIZE MATTERS billboard and saw that they are now the official personal liability law firm for UO Athletics. I did a double-take, apparently we’re selling our logo to creepy personal injury lawyers for a bit of NIL $, but forgot to take a photo. If anyone sees one, and could take a pic, would you dm me with it? I’d like to share w the student newspaper! Thanks!
