If you haven’t tried it yet, Love Mom’s Special Bread Pudding is soft, sweet, and melt-in-your-mouth, topped with caramel custard with a slight tanginess that balances the sweetness.

Hi, Pasig! My mom is 67 and has been looking for a small side hustle or extra source of income for a while, but as you can imagine, there aren’t exactly a lot of opportunities out there for someone her age.

So she decided to just make and sell something she already knows how to make really well: bread pudding. 😊

It’s soft, creamy, not overly sweet, with caramel custard on top and a slight tanginess. Each tray costs Php 250 and serving size is also good for sharing.

She’s taking a few pre-orders for September 19 pickup, and orders close September 16.

Hi! A few friends and I are organizing an in-person board game day at The Collectible Store in Cainta on Saturday, July 25.

There will be open gaming, a Harmonies mini tournament, and raffle prizes including brand-new board games, Co. Collectibles merch, toys, and a few other prizes. You’re welcome even if you’re coming alone or don’t know the games yet. We’ll be happy to teach, and it might be a nice way to meet other people who enjoy board games.

The event is also a fundraiser for the mother of someone in our local board game community. She became critically ill while visiting Japan and needed emergency surgery. Her family needs to begin paying a hospital bill of around ₱3.5 million next month, on top of the expenses involved in her continued recovery and rehabilitation.

I’m sharing this in case anyone here is looking for something to do that weekend and would also like to support a good cause.
