Need Advice

My friend recently started working and wants to buy around ₹1 lakh worth of gold using her HDFC Diners International credit card. She’s confused whether it’s better to buy:

* Gold jewellery from stores like Bhima, Lalitha, Malabar etc.

* Or gold coins/biscuits with lower making charges

Main goal is both some investment value and maybe occasional use if jewellery makes more sense.

Questions:

  1. Which option gives better overall value for ₹1 lakh?

  2. Any stores currently giving good offers/0% making charges/card discounts on HDFC Diners?

  3. Is buying gold coins smarter because of resale purity and lower wastage?

  4. Any issues with using Diners Club International card for large gold purchases?

  5. Would you personally split between jewellery + coin or go all into one?

She’s new to all this and doesn’t want to make a beginner mistake, so any advice would help.

Exhausted employee

I have been campus placed in this job and I'm desperately waiting to complete an entire year here - which'll be next month so that I can leave. It's so stressful here - a senior who micromanages and wants everything to be overly perfect, who commits to unrealistic deadlines with the client and i have to work so hard to meet those. I am given so much work that there is no question of personal life at all...I haven't had time to actually learn and develop any skills about what is actually happening on a bigger picture. But on the other hand I'm also afraid what'll happen if I just quit this job and then start searching for a new one...I'm afraid of the struggles we go through when we don't have enough money to afford stuff. I don't even know if I'll land a job amidst this heavy competition.
