Perimenopause and weight gain
Anyone else been here?
Easily put on 10-15 lbs in past 2-3 years.
Peri is kicking my ass.
Would Ozempic help? Doesn’t feel right to me since it’s not a huge massive weight gain, and concerned about side effects.

We get so many of these friends at cabin-but they fly away second we open door, and screens don’t do them justice!
Pileated Wood Pecker!
My husband and I were heading out of town this morning, but needed to stop for gas.
As we pull in, I’m asking him if he’d like me to go grab some waters as he’d be pumping the gas. I then look over to the gas station building, and see what appears to be a homeless man sitting on a bench.
I don’t want to sound like a jerk, but that made me feel a little apprehensive from going in.
Next thing I know, I look over again, just the side of the gas station building-no homeless man, nor a bench.
I literally got out of the car to look and nothing was there.
I told him about it, and certain he’s going to send me to the asylum.
Not sure what I saw, or if it was a glitch…flat out weird.
A bit nerve wracking. Caught this one on trail cam, and took our feeders out. We left a few up, as we were returning within a couple of days.
Bonus pics of silly raccoon and a bear ear.
Middle of nowhere woods. Literally middle of nowhere North Western Wisconsin, USA. American Black Bear. We’re guessing (and hoping) male.
Cabin Camera caught these birds socializing ❤️
North Western Wisconsin.
Cabin in the woods-North West Wisconsin.
Hubby and I have only had this property for a year and this is our first sighting.
We literally have about 20 bird feeders on our land and none have ever been disturbed. We will likely be bringing them in at night now.
Very cool to see this fella, but nerve wracking as to how close it came to the cabin.
It’s even more nerve wracking as we only have 4 neighbors within 1-2 miles. All woods and wetland.
Thought I’d share here. We have bear horns and spray. I’m a bit nervous it will climb up the front deck this weekend!
