Local fashion shops to support

My family use to enjoy doing clothes shopping down town. We like to support local. Checked them out today and saw that only like 3 are still around. Is there any other local boutiques cloths stores in Sioux Falls? I would like to continue to support small and local. It’s just sad that we can’t walk around downtown to do clothes shopping anymore. Also just hoping that downtown won’t only be a bar and restaurant area.

Mobility scooter for long days of activities

My mom had hip surgery a few months ago and will probably still have stamina issues. She’s looking at those smaller mobility scooters for when we go on trips and will be on her feet all day. Are any of the ones on Amazon good?

Colossal really is colossal sized

Got this Tomb Raider colossal omnibus. Didn’t expect it to be this big. I think it’s close to 8 to 10 pounds. Definitely biggest out of any I’ve gotten so far. Loki: Jim was my first one from like 10 years ago. I thought that was big. It looks small compared to the tomb raider one. The 3rd volume is even thicker. I can see where it’s a concern on how to read them when they get that size. Put in a few others for comparison as well.

My small collection of omnibus

I got the Loki Journey into Mystery omnibus like 10 years ago. Was my first one. Really loved the story. Made me cry. I’m more of a manga collector and have a few omnibus. Got the other 2 a few months ago. Was thinking of getting the X-men age of Krakoa.

Looking for Mulberry bushes

Any green house or hardware store in town that still have mulberry bushes for sale? Oakridge has them in trees but those are a bit more expensive.

Boom! Comics

I’ve known about the comics for a bit but never read them. Recently saw that there’s a kickstarter for the complete collection hardback edition. Cheapest bundle is $300 for all 5 books.

How are the comics? Is it all just short/episodic chapters?

Just wish there was a soft cover bundle so they are more affordable.

Been trying to get rid of this in my yard so I can have a low mow lawn.

From South Dakota

Mowed so no good examples of them. (My neighbor will call the city on me if I don’t keep them short) All over my yard.

The base is big. remains me of dandelions but the stems grow as tall as like 3 to 4 ft and a bit fuzzy. The leaves on the steam are different from the leaves at the base. Tends to grow in groups of 3 but not always. My cat goes crazy when she smells it on me. One her my other cats seem to not notice the smell. It’s been a battle to get rid of them
Are they invasive?

Never going to be this lucky again

Got the elfen lied set and the alita box set for a total $80 from the Facebook marketplace. The junji ito for $5 or less and banana fish for $3 at Savers. All within a week. All of these I wouldn’t have gotten if I didn’t got a good deal.

Now I’ll probably go years before another good score.

I have a detached garage that doesn’t have power. My uncles can’t agree with any good way of running a wire to it safely from my house. So I thought maybe I’ll use a solar panel and battery in the garage.

I just want it to power a few lights and a garage opener. No need for heating or cooling. It’ll probably stay on for long periods of time.

The lights are plug ins, and I’m guessing that the garage opener has to be wired in. It does get in the negatives during winter. The battery will be inside the garage.

Any recommendations for something around $300 and easy to handle?

2013 dodge avenger.

First there was a clicking on the passenger side of the car. Always when I start it and rarely at random. Sometimes when it’s not even on. The Ac feels like it’s not as strong as it use to be.

Then winter happened. I drive a different car in winter. Kept up with making sure to start the avenger every so often. Then a really cold snap happened and it killed the battery. Couldn’t get the battery to start until I did a slow 2 hr charge today. I know that I need to change the battery soon as i cant remember the last time I got a new one.

Now that I got my battery started again there is a chu sound. Only hear it when the window is rolled down. It gets faster the faster I go. The chu sounds when I hit 10 mile an hour. It sounds like it’s under the car in the drivers side.

I assume it’s 2 different things. Is it worth fixing?

▲ 3 r/ebike

Got an e-bike to commute to work. So it’ll be sitting outside for 8hrs. It can get really hot where I’m from. I’ve also been taking the battery with me so I can charge it at work. Should I get a bike cover while it sits outside for hours?
