Is this a good school schedule?

Hello I am a Freshman in highschool who aspires and dreams of attending Purdue.

Is this a good sophomore year schedule for next year? Is it competitive enough for Purdue?

  1. AP World

  2. German 1 (I will take AP French as a Freshman, will start my 3rd langauge)

  3. AP Physics 1

  4. AP Calc BC

  5. AP Comp Gov/AP Human Geo (Semester classes)

  6. AP Lit

  7. Soccer

Today I took a practice SAT test on bluebook for the 2nd time- first time I took it I only got a 1290, today I only got a 1300.

If I work hard and sacrifice my social life and fun will I be able to attend the colleges I want to go to?

Help cutting my sideburns

I recently received a Braun Series 5 shaver and tried using it to trim my sideburns for the first time as my facial hair grows in. Unfortunately, I messed up the symmetry pretty badly, and now they look completely crooked and uneven. Since I want to avoid going to the barber just for a quick cleanup, what are the best tips, tricks, or tools for getting a clean, level sideburn trim on your own?

Please give me advice to talk to girls at my school.

I am a rising freshman in highschool. Throughout my life I was scared of talking to girls at school and I rarely talked to them. I'm not trying to be rude or anything but around girls I find attractive I literally can't even make eye contact and I get really nervous and I look like a fool but around girls that I don't really find attractive I have no problems talking to them and don't experience the symptoms I face when I talk to girls I find attractive. Is it just me or does anyone experience this too. Also how do I stop this because I want to get a girlfriend in highschool. Thank you.

Who is the best policy debate coach that is still alive and not coaching a team right now.

A couple days ago I made a comment about who is the most famous policy debate coach and I am wondering who is the best policy debate coach that is still alive that I can contact, I want a coach that is experienced, won awards, famous, chill, etc. Preferably is there any ex-retired policy debate coaches that aren't policy debate coaches anymore or were fired from their positions? Because those coaches tend to be quite good from my experience and quite cheap. thank you, the reason I don't want to contact any like current team coaches is because they tend to be expensive af. So i want a coach that maybe is controversial that might want to tutor me in policy debate that coached a team since he is probably unemployed and has nothing to lose meaning he will be really cheap and go all in for me, thanks.

Hello! I am a rising Freshman in Highschool and I would like to know even more about Purdue

I am a rising Freshman in Highschool and I am trying my best to take a rigorous course load this year. I am taking a couple AP Classes this year and I am going to join clubs/E.C. such as Mock trials, debate, etc. I want to major in Poli Sci/Business and it's a really long story but my parents went to Purdue and I also visited the campus/know a lot of people who go there and I just feel like Purdue is where I belong. I was wondering to those who go to Purdue how the school life is there. I heard that everyone at Purdue is very patient, kind, accepting, and smart. I heard that school life is enjoyable and never miserable unless you are an engineering student. I was wondering to know more about the school life at Purdue and things about the campus etc. Thank you!

I need some feed back for my Freshman schedule!

Hello! I'm a rising freshman and I am super confident for this school year. I'm aiming to go to Purdue (It's a really long story but my parents went there), I'm aiming to major in Political Science or Business. I need some advice for my schedule because I'm really worried that I'm behind a lot of other people because I've seen people taking crazy numbers of AP Classes here on reddit and I am wondering if I should change my schedule to add some rigor. My school counselor thinks the complete opposite! She thinks my schedule is too difficult for a Freshman but I think I can handle the classes I am taking. Also please give me some resources to study for AP Chem I'm super worried about that class!

My current schedule is:

  1. AP Seminar

  2. AP Chemistry

  3. AP French (I started French 1 in 6th grade, French 2 in 7th grade, French 3H in 8th grade.)

  4. AP Calculus AB

  5. AP English Lang (I'm really excited about this class! My older brother took it last year and I heard it's really interesting)

  6. AP World History

  7. Soccer

Planning to take as Sophomore:

  1. AP Research

  2. AP Lit

  3. German 1

  4. AP Calculus BC

  5. APUSH

  6. AP Biology

  7. Soccer (Hopefully Varsity)

(I'm going to self study AP Human Geo)

Summer: German 2

Planning to take as Junior:

  1. AP Comp Gov

  2. English (DE) (Idk what course exactly yet)

  3. Advanced Calculus

  4. German 3H

  5. AP Euro

  6. AP Physics 1

  7. Soccer (Hopefully Varsity

Planning to take as Senior:

  1. AP German

  2. AP Stats (Probably going to change this I'm not sure yet please give me some feedback)

  3. AP Physics C: E and M

  4. AP Gov/ AP Macro (Semester Class)

  5. English (DE)

  6. Soccer

I just started practicing for the SAT. For my first practice test I got a 1290! I'm super worried. My goal is 1500+.

Extracurriculars: Soccer (Frosh), Starting MUN and Mock Trials, Creating Philosophy Club with my friend, Planning to take PSAT/NMSQT, Starting Independent Research next summer with my friend and his father guiding us (He is a professor). Joining Snowball investment club. Planning to eventually do Business summer camp. Building a fully functional RC Car and donating to children in need. I'm not entirely sure yet since I am just a rising freshman.
