Thinking about getting hisense u6 pro

I’ve been looking at upgrading the TV in my living room and recently started considering the hisense u6 pro 85".

I’ve actually had a smaller hisense in my bedroom for a couple years now and it’s been totally fine for me so far, so I’m a lot less skeptical about the brand than I used to be.

Going up to 85" feels kind of crazy though, especially since my current setup is nowhere near that size.

Main thing I’m wondering is how well the mini led performs on a panel this big in real use.

Does blooming get distracting during movies or dark scenes?

And how does it handle daytime viewing with some sunlight in the room?

I mostly watch sports and play PS5, so brightness matters more to me than perfect home theater black levels.

Anyone here actually spent some time with this model yet?

Best BYOD setup for a 20 person team in 2026?

We have around 20 people, mostly remote, mix of personal laptops and company MacBooks. Shipping hardware is getting expensive and VDI feels like overkill for our size.

What is everyone using these days to secure company data on personal devices without full MDM? Looking for something that actually works for small teams.

Can the Hisense U7 2026 really solve glare problem?

Okay so my living room has these massive west facing windows and from 3pm till sunset it's basically a mirror. My old samsung q80c is bright af but the glare is killing me. Literally cant watch a game without closing every single curtain and sitting in a cave. It claims to have this new anti-glare screen treatment. Sounds good on paper but is it for real? Anyone here actually using the U7 in a bright room?

I’m based in South Africa and trying to figure out which trading platform actually makes sense to use right now. I’ve been looking mostly at forex and CFDs (maybe stocks later), but I’m still pretty new so I don’t want to pick something I’ll regret later.

There’s a ton of info online, but a lot of it feels like promos or affiliates pushing certain brokers, so it’s hard to know what’s actually legit.

What I’m hoping to find is something reliable, not too complicated to start with, but also not something I’ll outgrow quickly. Fees and spreads matter to me, and I’d really prefer a platform where withdrawals aren’t a hassle.

From what I’ve learned so far, forex trading is legal here as long as you’re using a broker that’s properly regulated by the FSCA, which basically oversees financial providers and makes sure they follow certain rules.

It sounds like going with an FSCA licensed broker gives you more protection, like better oversight and clearer accountability compared to random offshore ones.

I’ve also noticed there are quite a few well-known brokers people mention here like Exness, IG, Pepperstone, AvaTrade, etc., but it’s still not obvious which one is actually best for everyday use.

A few things I’m still unsure about:

How important is it to stick with a local FSCA-regulated broker vs using an international one?

Are most people here still using MT4/MT5 or moving to newer platforms/apps?

Which platform has been the most reliable for you personally?

And are there any you’d avoid completely

I’ve been seeing a ton of AI girlfriend apps and chatbots popping up lately, and I’m kinda curious to try one, but there are so many that I have no idea where to start.

I’m not looking for anything super hardcore or weird, just something that feels natural to talk to, maybe a bit flirty, emotionally engaging and not totally paywalled after 5 messages 😅

I’ve heard names like Replika, Character AI, Kindroid etc., but I don’t know how they actually compare in terms of:

- realism of conversations

- customization (personality, appearance etc)

- free vs paid experience

- overall vibe (more wholesome vs spicy vs roleplay heavy)

If you’ve tried any of these, which one would you recommend as a first experience and why?

Appreciate any suggestions or honest takes 🙏
