Hello!

I am a proudly Autistic person, and I tried to write a paper that could help improve Autistic-Neurotypical communication. I also felt it was important to stress to others at my university that Autistic people have a culture of their own. Communications was not my major (CS was) and I only had 5 weeks in an accelerated course among others to write this. I tried to give it my best effort to use intercultural theories in my paper. I found it extremely hard to find supporting evidence due to autistic culture not being very well documented. I think I would like to revise this semi-rushed paper and make it something genuinely useful that could be shared. I would love to get feedback especially from other neurodivergent people who have experience in Autistic circles. Due to the rushed nature, there are most likely some big mistakes and misunderstandings.

Have you ever seen content about Autistic culture(s)? I thought it was amazing to learn about it and other disability cultures like Deaf culture.

Hello everyone, I am a proudly Autistic man and wrote a research paper for my social science capstone course at my university. I recently found it and was considering if it was worth revising so I could publish it. My original hope back then was to make something that could help improve communication between Autistic people and non-Autistic people. I'd love to hear your thoughts! I want to detect a magnetic field in an ellipsoid cavity that is about 5cm^3 that is in the picotesla range; however, I don't believe my TMR magnetic sensors are good enough for that but they are the ones in my budget. I was wondering if I could use a material like mu-metal to concentrate the magnetic field.

My idea was to use two sensors, one facing outward to collect the ambient magnetic field and subtract that one facing inward towards the magnetic field I want to detect. I was also making a faraday cage around it as well.

I'm working on a project that needs to snap photos of two objects from three different angles each. I need to do this sequentially with a very tight gap (ideally 5–10ms) between captures. I would also like to be running two cameras at the same time, one from each cluster.

I'm looking at using a Raspberry Pi and Global Shutter cameras. Does anyone have experience running camera setup like this? I’m worried that standard multiplexers might be too slow.

I want to make an indoor water fountain I can put on my dresser. I was thinking of using hydraulic cement and coating it with an aquarium safe sealant. I don't have access to a kiln, and I am open to using my oven, but I am very sensitive to fumes. I was thinking of using my new 3D printer to make a mold using PETG or PLA. I seem to be getting lots of conflicting information about what works and what doesn't.
