Do tolerance levels go down?

Actual thoughts from return to office.

It used to be it was relatively easy to tune out over 200 people and still continue a conversation, even when they are all sat in the vicinity.

Now, even having someone sat next to me in office makes me want to go "oi, sit somewhere else." 😂

There's nothing that has changed that would mean I would have difficulty with it usually, so am I just getting old and grumpy? Or is this happening to others...?

It's good to be back. :)

Damn I miss my graffiti pair though, I had a black pair with flames too but still can't find either on Vinted etc.

Quiz question at work

"the new Hunger Games film is due to be released in November..which character.."

Me as quick as the volunteers... "Haymitch Abernathy"

Luckily it was right. 🤣

Boss went "fine, what games did he win .."

Too easy.

I really am looking forward to the movie, but I don't want to wish the year away.

Anyone wondering if their cinema will do a full showing of all previous first?

The funniest complaint I think I have seen.

Happy timezones everyone!

We've all had the written, the yelled, the "trying to be polite" complaints I'm sure...

But this one got me today on archiving old emails/letters to be added on to files.

"I suggest that your redemptions department need to complete one hundred lines and write this in long hand...(Redacted sentence to do with how things are calculated)

As a bonus, the first one to finish should make the dunce caps for the management to wear while sitting in the corner in your next all staff meeting while they explain the procedure in detail."

How very British 🤣

Any idea on year?

Happy timezones everyone!

I have come into luck and been gifted a Noblet low Eb bass clarinet but I am wondering how old it may be.

Any suggestions?

[BBC Micro?] [1985] Educational

I am fairly certain I didn't imagine this game but cannot remember what it was called or who made it.

I remember a section with a character named Little Bit, with a top down view and I am pretty sure it involved a hot floor.

Any suggestions? Looked through playthroughs of the 4Mation games but not in there. Would have been in UK schools in late 80s, early 90s.
