Lucid Dreaming Shift?!

I had the craziest thing happen to me earlier this morning.

I’ve posted here before, but for background, I utilize the void state a lot. I haven’t felt like I’ve mastered shifting from there, but use it for meditation and manifesting A LOT.

For the past few weeks I’ve been just enjoying my little wins.

I’ve always been able to lucid dream, but not super deeply if that makes sense.

If a dream is scaring me, I can force myself out of it easily, usually I act how I do in real life in my dreams etc.

Recently, if dreams are a little too weird, then I’ll notice it’s a dream and be SUPER lucid. Like “Oh this is a dream. Okay.” type of lucid.

I picked shifting back up at the end of May, so really June, but I’ve known about it since 2020 and only shifted once during the 2-3 years I was actively trying.

So this morning, I wake up at 8:40 AM, and decide I’ll just go back to sleep. I stay up for a little, messing around on my phone, eating fruit, then go back to sleep around 9:30.

I decide to lay on my back and just affirm (I actually enjoy the starfish position). Sometimes I’ll do this if I’m not feeling particularly like I want to shift.

I end up falling into a dream. I’m talking to my mom about something, then I go into the kitchen and drink some tea.

I go back to my bedroom, and BAM I’m super lucid. So lucid that I decide I’m going to lay on my back and shift.

I lay on my bed, starfish position, and I’m thinking about my waiting room. But then I decide, “Actually, take me anywhere. In fact, Italian food sounds really good right now. Take me to somewhere I can eat some Italian.”

A few minutes pass of me thinking about Italian food and suddenly I feel kind of floaty. This is something I feel plenty since I’m used to void state.

Before I know it though, I can’t feel my body either. Normal again, nothing new.

Then, I feel my portion starting to change. That’s a little different, but it’s happened before so I still don’t think much of it.

I’m in a sitting position, upright, feel on the ground and forearms on a hard surface.

I start to hear murmuring around me, like I’m in well…a restaurant. That’s when I start to get confused and equally excited.

I decide to open my eyes, and y’all holy shit I see that I’m sitting at a table, in a restaurant. There’s lot of sunlight because there’s these nice big windows. It’s sunny outside, the weather looks perfect. I also see people around me.

I am literally in so much awe and shock. Need I remind you, I’ve never shifted from a dream, and definitely not just because I wanted some Italian food.

But all of this is oddly fuzzy, almost static-like?

I also still see my room. It’s like my brain is genuinely short-circuiting trying to reason how it’s see two locations at once.

I know I should probably close my eyes and affirm some more, but again, I’m in awe. I move my hands on the table, and I FEEL it. It’s crazy.

I end up getting too excited and wake up on my back in my bedroom. (Again, I’d done all that from a dream)

I was not disappointed at all. I woke up smiling because I was so amused that I shifted from lucid dreaming for the first time by wanting food 😭😭😭

I’ve gotten really good at getting into the Void State!

I’ve been meditating for years now, for whatever reason, only this year have I really understood what the void state is.

I’ve shifted a few times, but never consistently if that makes sense. I’ve only ever shifted to my waiting room, which I don’t mind because I enjoy it a lot.

Last night, I decided to use a guided meditation. I haven’t used one in years! It was alunir’s void state guided meditation.

Right when she got to 100, I felt it, but it felt much deeper than my previous times and I stayed there much longer than usual. I also really like the affirmations. Instead of “I am shifting” ——> “You have shifted.” She also said “You are grounded in your desired reality.” which was very helpful.

I constantly push myself out of it by acknowledging it too much? I also realized I’m not very sure how to use it to shift. I just get so comfortable with the feeling of being there. It’s very interesting.

I meditated again today and used the meditation again, but followed it with theta waves this time.

I stayed there very long, but once again, I got distracted just enjoying it lol.

Does anyone use the void state to shift? I feel like this method could be consistent for me if I figure out how to ground myself properly.

I constantly will feel my waiting room (it’s just a purple bedroom. Usually jazz is playing and it smells like lavender), my room size will change, the audio will fade out, I’ll even kind of see the purple tint of the room behind my eyelids! Lots of time I can feel my position change slightly, I’ll be laying on the couch instead.

But I just can’t seem to get that final push a ground myself.

Upgraded my Switch!

For background, I’ve had my Nintendo switch for quite some time. I’m turning 19 in about a month and have had it since I was maybe 14?

My sister and I got them as gifts from our grandpa. She didn’t use her much, so it stayed in the living room for “game nights.” I loved mine, so I eventually got given all the games to keep safe in my case.

Well, I haven’t had time to play it as much, but it’s still in great condition. I decided to get a screen protector and some controllers to make it better to play for longer times.

Fallen back in love with it. Since we’ve moved, occasionally a game will pop up from finding it in storage.

I’ve got one more slot in my game case before I fill it up! (Technically two if I keep a game cartridge in my switch, but I don’t like too because I don’t know if it could damage the port??) I’m thinking about Mortal Kombat 11. Any recommendations? I prefer physical cartridges, but I don’t mind digital. I’m planning to get an sd card anyways.

My dad happened to find Mario Cart 8 Deluxe, my favorite! Having so much fun! This controller is a game changer!!
