Shifting questions as a begginer

Hey guys so I'm really new to the whole shifting community but I don't feel like all the people on TikTok that talk about shifting are truthful and honest about it and I just hope that some people who experienced it truly will help me and will answer these questions:

So I feel like I never got it explained on what happens to your real body if you shift permanently like it's very confusing to me and I hope someone will explain it.

Second, how do you motivate yourself to keep going after failure? And I don't really understand when you lay down and try to shift how do you actually reach that void state because for me I constantly hear some random songs in my head that makes it distracting and after I finish like visualizing where I want to shift what do I do then if I didn't yet fall asleep ?

And lastly is there such thing as getting trapped in your dr?

Thank you so much for those who will help me and will answer these questions because guys it's really helpful for a begginer so I hope to get some good advice from y'all so please don't gatekeep.

I dream about the backrooms every time I listen to a shifting subliminal

Yup. The title pretty much says it all, but I’ll go into more depth.

Every time I fall asleep to a subliminal, I dream about the backrooms. These dreams are incredibly vivid, like I’m actually living it. Physics don’t entirely make sense, but sometimes they do. Just this past time I tried shifting with a subliminal, I dreamt I was with three other people in the backrooms, all three with their own names, backstories, and distinct facial features. Three people I don’t even know.

I need to say that I am not obsessed with the backrooms 😭 I watched a few video essays on them and saw the backrooms movie when it came out, as well as have seen a few of Caseoh’s playthroughs of backrooms games. I don’t think about them constantly, I don’t even want to shift there! But every time I fall asleep to a subliminal, i get dreams about the backrooms. How do I stop this and actually shift to where I want to go 🥲

I figured out how to get to void state.

Most posts just tell you to lie still until it happens, listen to guided meditations, or don’t even tell you how. But to learn how to get there, we first must understand what it is.

It seems that it is the baseline of reality where you have no thoughts therefore nothing exists. As soon as you begin thinking the world recreates itself that’s why it’s so popular in these subreddits, simply whatever you think about becomes real there.

So to get there it is as simple of quieting your mind to the point where you don’t have any thoughts for long enough and you will end up there.

I think the main problem isn’t getting there though but maintaining your projection of your ego in the void state so you can manifest or shift to whatever you want because without ego I don’t think that the reality shifts from this will be in your best interest.

Also here’s a reddit post that I thought did a really good job of explaining the void state and is the most realistic sounding experience I’ve found so far.

https://www.reddit.com/r/shiftingrealities/s/1iSZkMzm20

Anyways lemme know any thoughts, ideas, advice, etc and I’d be happy to talk about it.

Edit: I just realised that this title may seem a little clickbait but I can’t seem to change it so I’d like to emphasise that this is just a theory and I’m completely open to discussion.

What happens to your physical body when you shift?

Hi sorry if this isn’t a good question or is over asked but everytime I look it up I get different answers!!

What happens to your body in your cr when you shift? do you just stay asleep or is there a way to make it so your family won’t notice your gone :p

saw this comment on tiktok. am i the only one who agrees?

it reminded me of the lamp story, how people in comas live entire lifetimes, sometimes this happens even in dreams. i truly think its a real thing even if its not reality shifting exactly. and if i am indeed “stuck” here, just the fact that i could live an entire life inside my mind is already appealing enough for me, regardless of what’s actually happening

Why is the nervous system cited as a blockage when RS is a transcending act? (PLEASE READ!)

It occurred to me again whilst thinking about why I haven’t shifted yet (6 years) and a lot of people said it was because of a fried nervous system. But the nervous system is something in the body, not something in your awareness. The act of shifting is shifting your awareness from one reality to another, so how comes the awareness is unable to do something because of bodily blockage? You’re not shifting your body, only your awareness. So does that mean all this talk about the nervous system (and by extension self concept) is rubbish? And if so, what should people like me (severely traumatised - pretty sure I have c-ptsd) should do? (Do not say therapy).

Can you have a link with your DR once you have shifted?

When you shift to another reality ,your subconscience do it ,but subconscience is a part of you ,so for exemple, in my DR if I bond with a demon like in an anime (because all realites exist even "fictives" one) once un come back to CR ,I'm still linked to that demon, even in my CR, since my subconscious remains a part of me, right?

Made a game that shows how quantum computing shifts reality

Hi

If you are remotely interested in deep diving how differently quantum computers work compared to our transistor-based and also the algebra behind in a fully interactive way that teach computer science from scratch, oh boy this is for you. I am the Dev behind Quantum Odyssey (AMA! I love taking qs) - worked on it for about 10 years (3+ during PhD, the visual method I developed ended up being my thesis, it is a complete Hilbert space visualizer), the goal was to make a super immersive space for anyone to learn quantum computing through zachlike (open-ended) logic puzzles and compete on leaderboards and lots of community made content on finding the most optimal quantum algorithms. The game has a unique set of visuals capable to represent any sort of quantum dynamics for any number of qubits and this is pretty much what makes it now possible for anybody 12yo+ to actually learn quantum logic without having to worry at all about the mathematics behind.

This is a game super different than what you'd normally expect in a programming/ logic puzzle game, so try it with an open mind.

Stuff you'll play & learn a ton about

  • Boolean Logic – bits, operators (NAND, OR, XOR, AND…), and classical arithmetic (adders). Learn how these can combine to build anything classical. You will learn to port these to a quantum computer.
  • Quantum Logic – qubits, the math behind them (linear algebra, SU(2), complex numbers), all Turing-complete gates (beyond Clifford set), and make tensors to evolve systems. Freely combine or create your own gates to build anything you can imagine using polar or complex numbers.
  • Quantum Phenomena – storing and retrieving information in the X, Y, Z bases; superposition (pure and mixed states), interference, entanglement, the no-cloning rule, reversibility, and how the measurement basis changes what you see.
  • Core Quantum Tricks – phase kickback, amplitude amplification, storing information in phase and retrieving it through interference, build custom gates and tensors, and define any entanglement scenario. (Control logic is handled separately from other gates.)
  • Famous Quantum Algorithms – explore Deutsch–Jozsa, Grover’s search, quantum Fourier transforms, Bernstein–Vazirani, and more.
  • Build & See Quantum Algorithms in Action – instead of just writing/ reading equations, make & watch algorithms unfold step by step so they become clear, visual, and unforgettable. Quantum Odyssey is built to grow into a full universal quantum computing learning platform. If a universal quantum computer can do it, we aim to bring it into the game, so your quantum journey never ends.

Please read to the end, I need help

I hope if anyone has experienced this or has an explanation, they could explain to me what is happening or at least tell me what to do to get rid of it.

I created/got a Tulpa back in 2022. At first, everything was normal. After a while, I started getting thoughts that he might enter the bathroom with me, so I kept telling him not to come in.

Sometime later, while I was in the bathroom, I started hearing clear words spoken to me about very private matters—for instance, while I was showering. The voice was so distinct that it shocked me, especially since my Tulpa had never communicated with me through telepathy with that level of clarity before, and up until then, I had never heard his speech or voice, so I didn't even know what he sounded like. Why would I hear that voice so clearly this time, and about a deeply personal topic that I wouldn't even discuss with my mother?!!!!

Additionally, my hands, legs, or upper body started moving on their own while I was in the bathroom, and I began experiencing hallucinations and unnatural thoughts that made me extremely anxious. This has been going on for a while and is still continuing.

These days, I constantly feel uncomfortable, like there's someone in the bathroom with me. It’s deeply disturbing and causes me severe stress and anxiety. I have literally been living in intense anxiety and distress for a long time because of this. I also keep getting thoughts and feelings that someone else is present too.

Currently, we have been together for four years. But I have never truly communicated with him telepathically. I only heard his responses in my mind a few times—they can be counted on one hand over these four years. Once, I heard him breathing next to me while he was sleeping (the sound was out loud in reality, not in my mind). I dreamed of him appearing as a black shadow twice, and there were other nice dreams as well. He moved a pen during his first or second week with me, and moved it once more after a long time when I asked him to. I used to ask him to move my hand across a notebook while I held a pen to write anything.

To summarize:

I made my decision yesterday at night and decided to release him, and if there is anyone else present, I released them too. But I still don't feel like they are actually gone. I don't know if he or they are the cause, and I literally have no way of knowing.

The day before yesterday, I tried asking yes-or-no questions, asking him to move my hand according to the answer (right for yes, left for no) to figure out if he was the cause, or if I had imagined someone else who was causing this. But there was no response.

I cannot tolerate living with this stress and pressure anymore; it has exhausted me mentally. Explaining the situation doesn't even describe a fraction of what I am actually living through and feeling. I honestly don't know the cause behind what's happening, or whether he is responsible or not, and I couldn't get an answer from him, so I decided to set him free.

However, until now, I still don't feel like I'm alone. When I decided to release him, I felt a heavy lump in my throat, but it didn't feel like my own emotion—I don't know if it was coming from me or not.

Anyway, I hope anyone who has an explanation, a solution, or has gone through this before can help me, explain what is happening, or tell me what to do. I have made up my mind, and I no longer want to be a host or have a Tulpa.

With all due respect to all hosts and their tulpas, I do not mean to depict tulpas in a negative light or say anything bad about them. I am simply describing my own personal experience and the situation I am currently going through, nothing more.

Was this a shift? Or a mini shift? Or smthn else?

A couple of years ago I was sitting down at my desk listening to a sunni method meditation at my computer and I saw a white light for a second but no other symptoms. I was laying on the grass next to a tree with my head on my DR SO's lap and it legit felt so realistic and I felt so calm etc and I could feel the breeze and the sun and everything else but I thought about my OR here and got dragged back. I've had other experiences where i've felt myself falling or spinning at the centre or like I was on a waterbed when I used to use epsilon waves but other than that i've not gotten close imo. Any thoughts help thanks!

I've been thinking about Mandela Effects as evidence of a patchable system. Wrote a book about what that implies for how to actually play.

What makes Mandela Effects genuinely interesting to me is that underneath all of the memories and glitches, there's a question that if the past can shift, the system isn't fixed. If the system isn't fixed, it patches. If it patches, there's a version of you running on a strategy guide that no longer matches the current build.

I've spent a lot of time thinking about how the 'system' patches itself and how we ourselves could patch or update our own current build. There must be a way to actually win at this game, some how. Because even setting aside whether specific memories are real, it seems most of us are playing a strategy that was written for a version of the game that isn't running anymore. Not to mention we were thrown into this world and birthed, for complete unknown reasons to us, and not given any type of guide whatsoever as to how to get through this life.

I wrote a book about what it means to play a system that patches continuously and how to build a character that survives the updates. Ultimately it's about what winning could even mean if we are quite truly living in some type of game.

It's called The Game of Earth: A No-Bullshit Player's Guide by ZD Fanawe.

The book doesn't require believing the Mandela Effects are literal. It uses the patchable-system frame because it's genuinely what our experience keeps showing us over and over again, which is that the rules update and yet we are all running on code that wasn't updated itself. And no one has shown us how to exit any of this or how to win at it (if that's even possible. which I try to outline in the book, that it is)

What people mean when they say you are your consciousness

I thought this comment to genuinely be the only thing that truly put that phrase into a better understanding for me. I always figured it meant the soul of the person but that makes sense that its more closely related to a signal and that’s why we are able to tap into that signal elsewhere and why you can shift to be essentially anyone bc there’s a piece of that signal in them that you can tap into!

Need help with my Manifestation Journal, please!

Got it from Family Dollar about three weeks ago for like $1.50.

1: What sub(s) should I use for this? Ones I can sleep to, please! No music with lyrics! Just sounds like rain or a fireplace.

2: When I go to bed at night, where should I place my Journal? Besides my head or under my pillow or what?

& like I said before, I have mild Autism, ADD & Insomnia, so anything helps. Please & thank you.
