When people tell me to smile, it's so creepy

I just got to work, I'm very tired from yesterday as I had double the work due to the Victoria day holiday. I don't have my work badge on but I'm dressed pretty nicely. One of the patients walks by in the hallway and is like "smile", I just ignore it and then he keeps saying it then he says it again, smiles and looks at me.

I don't think he meant harm by this but please stop saying this shit. It's uncomfortable and yesterday, I had a bad day. I just woke up and I'm already in a bad mood. Had issues sleeping due to neighbors being super loud, my mom let them grow crops and they will scream talk in the backyard causing me to lose sleep. Just for context, I have severe social anxiety, I already hate being judged and looked at. I'm usually not in a good mood, I was on my phone wearing my headphones just trying to relax. You don't know what others are thinking or feeling.

Also, I go to church every week with my mom because she doesn't have anyone else to go with. This one priest is weird and he will tell you to smile. He will be like "do me a favor and smile". He says the same thing to my cousin and wtf is there to smile about. It's just so creepy to say to another person.

My neighbors grow herbs into our backyard despite them ripping out our plants last year, my mom is too nice

Hi everyone, so I live in a house with just me and my mom. Before I got locked out of my account, I frequently posted on here and a different subreddit. Last year, the neighbors wife pulled out the three plants on the side of our house. It was a long story but I found out, told my mom and then she told them to stop. She spoke to the wife and wrote a note as well. The lady thinks that the side of our house belongs to her as well.

When they pulled out our plants, my mom told basically everyone like my uncles, aunt, hair dresser, etc. My aunt told her to let them grow herbs for another year then don't let them grow anymore so this is technically the last year. My mom has allowed them to grow herbs in our backyard for 4-years. We're both the same race and they like to ask for favors a lot.

My mom allowed them to grow herbs in our backyard and the fucking neighbors decide it's a good idea to go into the backyard when I was gonna take a nap at 7pm. They talk really loud like scream talking. I even spoke to my mom on speaker and I'm pretty sure they heard me because they were talking outside near my window. Btw he usually has Fridays off but decides to annoy me and do work at that time.

I need to set some boundaries but my mom just screwed us into this situation because she can't say no to people. I'm growing frustrated because I'm mostly home alone for the weekdays and I don't give a shit if they work in the backyard on weekends or Friday because my mom's mostly home. But they decide to work during a weekday and I usually take naps after work or rest. I don't wanna fucking hear loud scraping and talking.

Sometimes they would let strangers into our backyard to pick the herbs that the neighbors grew. It would be so fucking weird to wake up and see someone in your backyard. Like obviously they watch them but it's just so weird and invasive. I'm not sure what to do but I'm so frustrated and angry. We're not even close with them or anything. Btw they grow herbs at their in-laws place and they're too lazy to rip out bricks to grow more herbs and get more dirt patches.

Is it weird if neighbors who live next to you talk in front of your house?

I live in the middle of these two neighbors, I don't really like either of them. One family has vandalized my plants, used our garbage bin without permission and are just loud people. The other ones are weird, they tried to get me involved with a scam, their guests always block our driveway but I addressed that issue. Sometimes they would be on our driveway walking on it or playing on it. But it has stopped. They would use the basketball net without permission when we first moved here. One of them is extremely loud, I can hear whenever he talks and it wakes me up. In the summer, they would be talking early as 7am.

I noticed every Saturday, I will hear loud talking and it sounds like it's outside of my house. I was ignoring it for months then I check outside my window and two neighbors are on the sidewalk in front of my house which is fine since the sidewalk is public property. But the other one was standing on my driveway. Is this normal? They were talking for a long time and I was gonna go outside to see what was going on. But two left In a car and the other one left to go inside their house.

Not sure if they're lacking social skills but one time, a guy who lives next door was staring at me and went on my driveway then walked off. I think he wanted me to say hi to him but it was a weird exchange.

I already don't like loud noises especially since I'm mostly home alone for majority of the week. For the past few weekends, neighbors have been setting off fireworks for 5-15 minutes. It gets on my nerves especially when it's not a holiday. If it's a major holiday then knock yourself out. But I don't wanna hear it after 10pm. It's just annoying and I gonna go somewhere tomorrow.

I get Its their job, it's how they live but they're so incredibly annoying sometimes. The ones that go to my door are extremely aggressive. There were these two men at the door, they knocked on my door aggressively and rang the doorbell. I can hear just fine! Why do they feel the need to bang on the door aggressively and loudly... When they already rang the doorbell.

I didn't open the door for them but we typically get them during 5-8 pm. Then they were still on the sidewalk in front of my place still talking. Like move! Then they went to the other houses. I remember opening the door for a salesperson, I told him I wasn't interested and he kept trying. It just gets annoying so I'm considering getting a no soliciting sign. It may help so that they don't come back.

Now I have respect for service workers but I will not appreciate them yelling at others. This bus driver has drove this route for a few months now. I usually don't get any other driver than him at 2:30 pm. He picks up hs kids. I think one of them kept pressing the button repeatedly for a few stops and he got mad. So he yelled and threatened to not pick them up anymore lol.

Then I was putting on my bag and I had one foot step near the line in the front. You know when drivers tell you to move back behind the line. He said it once then I didn't respond as I was putting on my bag. Then he yelled at me "Hello". I get its a tough job and ppl probably annoyed him the whole day but you don't gonna yell at people lol. I don't go yelling at my clients or customers. Then at the Last bus stop, he didn't open the back door despite a lady protesting and then he drove past it lol. Anyways, I'm not gonna get under his skin and I will probably just move further back.

When it rains heavily or moderately, I noticed there's less people. I don't like to go outside unless I have to buy groceries, items or I have to go on a walk to exercise. It's more peaceful with less people outside and I don't have to bump into someone I might know. It's just peaceful to me now.

I believe it was yesterday, I opened up the bin and smelled a very foul smell. I was putting in my organics bags in the green bin and noticed it there was a small dog poop bag that was on the bottom right. Luckily I caught it right away and tossed it out at a public bin. Don't do this on non trash pick-up days... It is incredibly rude and unsanitary. I get trash bins do smell but as someone who has never owned pets, I do not want the bags to burst or not be picked up.

Sometimes whenever the garbage workers come by and collect, the bags will stick to the bottom. Then that person whose bin you used has to deal with that in their bin for another week. Please don't be that person. If It's trash pick-up day then I'd understand more. But they put it in my bin 2-days before pick-up. I didn't want it to burst or stink up my bin so I dropped it off at a public bin. They allow us to drop it off at the park that has bins or public bins near the area.

It's also laziness because I live 2-minutes away from a park and the public bin is a min away. My mom thinks we're an easy target because it's just me and her living here. Every time she goes to work, she takes the car. So our house appears "empty". I'm considering moving my bins to my garage or behind the house because I left it on the side of our driveway. I don't want people to have easy access to it.

Thank you for the award!
