how are you thinking about ring fit in relation to....losing your ring or not
I was recently surprise proposed to by my sweet boyfriend of a year! I haven't had a ring on my mind at *all* so I'm actually grateful to not have had to formulate an aesthetic opinion, because he proposed with a beautiful, simple ring that has been used by his great grandma, grandma, and mom. His mom was even wearing it up until he was ready to propose! It feels very special but nerve wracking to suddenly be the caretaker of this meaningful family heirloom, and unfortunately I'm a bit notorious for misplacing keys, absentmindedly playing with rings, etc. Because of my worries about losing it, when we went to get it resized, I may have had them do it a little too small. Did anyone else get their ring sized a little more snug out of fear of losing it? Am I being paranoid? Would it look so much nicer without my little finger love handles lol? Does sizing matter less than just learning to take great care of your ring? Pictures for reference. (sorry mods if you're seeing this as a repost, i didn't realize i accidentally posted from an old throwaway account at first!!)

my best friend; my smaller half
poppy is 3.5 years old; i don't remember what life was like without this sweet companion. walks and river hangs are my hobbies now because i just want to be with her when im not working. every day, mary oliver's poem that goes "how many summers does a little dog have?" reverberates through my brain. and donna haraway's "if i have a dog, then my dog has a human." i just want to relish every moment and give her the best life a guardian can give. anyways there's my little 11pm ode to the little love of my little life. i love seeing everyone else's dogs, it makes my heart sing 💕
