Kickr bike shift

So I’m mostly set on the shift. But what has started throwing me off a little before I pull the trigger is the amount of issues I’ve seen. I have never seen a product still be praised so well after so many issues. I’ve seen so many posts showing the bike making a creaking or weird sound, wahoo seems to mainly replace the bike, which is good, but still. The kickr bikes seem to be one of the best, most suggested smart bikes even from trusted YouTubers and reviewers but still seems to have a lot of issue posts which is confusing. I do realize most customers with no issues are less likely to say anything. It’s just such an expensive purchase to be worried about problems.
Another thing is the fact it’s been out of stock on wahoos website for seemingly a long time. A little off putting as well.

So is this a good purchase these days? It’s confusing seeing so many issue posts while also being one of the most praised bikes At the same time.
Anyone know what’s up with it being out of stock for so long on their website?

Fabric is bleeding heavily

I bought a couple dresses at a stand from a fair. Don’t know if I’ll ever do that again!

I’ve washed them twice now with Color catchers each time and the second wash was no better than the first. The first wash diddnt even get the weird smell off one of them. Is there anything I should do to lock in the color? I’m afraid to even wear them.

Is Braun the way to go for at home removal?

I am considering getting an at home IPL device. I have the ideal skin tone and hair color. I am worried about having negative reactions as I have sensitive skin and and thick hair and am prone to Ingrowns and infection. But if I decide to do it, Is Braun really the best? I can get certain Ulike models for like $70 with rewards I have. But I do want a machine that will give me the best results. Is Braun really worth it over Ulike, Or any other brand?

Also, any negative experiences for anyone? Is there anyone out there that just can’t do IPL?

Help with bike purchase

Hi ladies,
I was hoping to get help with a bike purchase. I have posted in other communities but wanted to ask on here too.
For context, I have always wanted a spin bike, I tried spin in the past and loved it. I can’t go to classes anymore so I decided I’d buy a spin bike. I have room for only one bike which will go in my living room 🫠. I actually mainly want to do zwift at home, it looks so fun and I think it’ll keep me engaged long term, but I also want to do occasional spin classes. So I was going to buy a $900 spin bike, add power meters and smart spin 2k to do Zwift, Then next thing you know im down a rabbit hole and I’m learning about smart bikes. I actually found a kickr shift for almost the same price as the spin bike with the added power meters and ss2k. So now I’m confused if the smart bike will be overkill, or if it’ll actually be the better purchase, since it’ll be nearly the same cost anyways.

I just can’t find info on if/how you can do a spin class on this bike, or any smart bikes. I understand you can’t do resistance mode on this bike, but I’m thinking just changing gears would be good enough? I also am confused about the differences, especially riding out of the saddle. The spin bikes look like they are more upright posture, so the smart bikes are a little intimidating to look at, I don’t know how they will feel compared to a spin bike. Are the same muscles targeted?

My main goals are to get cardio in and get in better shape, hopefully build some strength (I understand strength training is better for this, which I also do) and have fun, so that I stick with it. I am also sure I’ll geek out over the numbers and seeing the improvements I make. I am interested in trying races in zwift, challenging myself but still having variety, which is where the occasional spin classes come in to play.

I hope none of this were dumb questions, but I cannot go try one out in person and I want to put my money in the right place! Thank you!
