Regret not getting a more elegant dress

Regret not getting a more elegant dress

Can someone please talk me off the ledge.. I love the dress I chose as I am trying to keep it simple and classy but I regret getting chiffon and not something like stretch satin that in my mind looks more "polished" and elegant.

I'm probably overthinking it but I don't want to spend the money on a new dress and I am feeling like I blew it.

In this photo , the dress is being pinned which makes it look more wrinkled, it is supposed to lay flat.

How to get discharged from psychiatry

Feels like a dumb question but I was referred to psychiatry before my diagnosis for severe anxiety and psychosomatic pain. Now that I am diagnosed with EDS, I don't want to continue seeing the psych as I already have so many doctors appointments to manage (I am also in therapy). I also feel like while, yes I do have mental health struggles, seeing a psychiatrist now that I know that my chronic pain is physical not psychosomatic feels redundant.

How can I get discharged? My psych is managing multiple medication prescriptions for me, can I ask my GP to take this over? My psychiatrist would probably disagree that I should see another specialist, but I feel like we are just meeting once a month for him to renew my prescription.

Beginner with airless spray painter - how to see what Im doing?

This might be a dumb question but Im new to this and I find my goggles get covered in paint when I am painting indoors and I can't see what I am doing. I get maybe 5 passes before I am completely unable to see where I have painted and where I need to paint.

Should I be using a full face shield instead?

Fainted for the first time as an adult, really scared and embarrassed

I have been sick with the flu for the past week and went out to celebrate a birthday party last night thinking I was feeling better. All I remember is I can't hear anything, why is everyone looking at me and asking if I am okay? Then darkness and it felt like I got punched in the head (hit my head on the floor). I was helped up and passed out again.

I know that people faint all the time but I found it so scary to lose control over my body. Coming to and then going out again was also scary. When I finally regained full consciousness I had trouble getting words out and I was extremely confused and disoriented.

It might have just been dehydration but it feels like every year my body becomes less resilient. I was only diagnosed this year with EDS (getting cmthe genetics test soon), which was a huge eye opener to stop "pushing" through all the pain and fatigue.

The reality is that I don't know how to live my life, I always assumed I was normal (self gaslighting), and that I was weak for not being able to do as much as others without feeling like shit for days afterwards.

I have been working here for 3 years and have 20+ e-mails showing a colleague actively trying to humiliate me, undermine my work, and gatekeep access to resources I need to perform my job function.

I have brought this up at least 3 times with my manager, resulting in a "sit down" with this colleague telling him his conduct is inappropriate, the addition of a new team member as a "buffer" between myself and this person, but no actual solution as he has continued this behavior as recently as 4 weeks ago. This last time, I recorded him yelling at me and being extremely offensive and unprofessional towards me. I have been working on average 10-20 hours overtime per week unpaid (im supposed to be on commission but this is not in my contract and I have not been paid any commissions). My boss said he would sit down with this colleague again next week to address his behavior, and he also hired someone to take some of the workload off my plate. They are starting in 2 weeks.

I have been approached by a direct competitor and I want to leave. I signed a 12 month non solicit which states that I cannot do business with any outside parties that I have worked with while at this company. Given how niche my industry is this means I basically cannot work In my current job for 12 months.

Can I quit , take this job and void the non solicit due to constructive dismissal?
