Lunch options

What are your favorite lunch recipes and options?
Looking for something without too many raw veggies as I have Crohn’s disease. I know the diet is not very strict. I’m just trying to learn how to follow the diet more. I can’t have nuts or too many raw veggies like celery and lettuce. I’m looking for stuff I can meal prep as I often work long hours. The cheaper the better too. I’m not super into tuna fish and I don’t eat pork. I’m also lactose intolerant.

For breakfast I usually have a smoothie and dinner is fish or chicken with lots of veggies. I used to have pb&j, peanut butter protein balls or overnight oats for lunch.
But after looking at this Reddit I’m thinking I should have something else? I was going to do smoke salmon (lox) with vegan cream cheese, cucumber, lox & everything bagel seasoning on an English muffin or whole grain bagel?
I snack on a lot of fruit and legumes. Especially bananas, dates and edamame.

Strains for Crohn’s pain

I use MMJ for Crohn’s, anxiety & CPTSD. I’ve been having some issues with my Crohn’s even tho I’m in remission.
I’m going to be shopping Vytal this week and was wondering what strains are recommended. I’m really just looking for flower recommendations. I make my own gummies and keep RSO & dabs on hand. I always use something with CBG in it even tho there’s no current inflammation. I know to look for high cariopholine too. I’m a big grassroots fan but saw a lot of stuff I’ve never tried on the menu. I’m looking to spend $60. or under. I usually like to get two 1/8ths. One hybrid and one indica.
I won’t buy kind tree or terrapin.
Thank you! 😊

Period panties brand recommendations

Hello.

I wear period panties that I meanly got on Amazon. I recently gained weight and the front part isn’t hitting where it needs to. They’re also a bit too small in general. I’m waiting to get a new IUD and have spotting daily. Otherwise it’s just discharge but the usual amount. I don’t really get my period with my IUD. I also use them as I have Crohn’s disease for any small accidents so I don’t ruin regular underwear & it washes out easily.

I’m looking for brands I can get a multi pack from. Something affordable. The cuter the better! Needs to have a high front AND a high back for those Crohn’s accidents too. Bonus points if it’s panty line free!!!

What do you suggest please?

Grassroots die hard fan

I’ve been obsessed with Grassroots for like 5-6 years now. It started with Garlic Cookies for anxiety. (Still my favorite strain in the program). I managed to get a garlic cookies hat and the grassroots grinder. Grinder came from their booth at cannafest. I hear there’s a lot more grassroots swag out there, but they don’t really do pop ups. :( I’m dying for a grassroots refillable lighter and I hear they have a garlic cookies keychain!

Anyway, this week I grabbed 1g of garlic cookies RSO to make gummies. 3.5 grams of cantaloupe haze and 3.5 of cap junky.
They’ll all be great for pain, anxiety and inflammation. The RSO was a little over 2% CBG. It’s got a nice amount of CBN in there too.

A budtender at restore tried to tell me grassroots RSO is distillate. I’ve always had positive effects from their RSO. Always looks very dark and thick. Not sure at all why he would say that. (This is why another reason I don’t shop Restore anymore. It’s totally fake news.)

I haven’t had cap junky in awhile, but last time I had cantalope haze I loved it.
The cap junky despite being a 3.5 only had two very large nugs in it. Another reason I love grassroots.

I’m searching and waiting for purple star fruit to come back around. That strain was great for sleep.

Snacks

Are black bean brownies or pretzels and hummus two ways to snack on the Mediterranean diet?
Using the black beans and hummus to get more legumes?
What about having an English muffing with olive oil, avacado and everything bagel seasoning? Sometimes I add an egg or lox.

Looking for dinner recipes

I’m looking for dinner recipes that are pork and dairy and nut free. I have breakfast and lunch down, but dinner stumps me. Since I’m starting to have lox for lunch, I tend to stick to chicken or beef. I’ll have fish about once or twice a week, not including the lox. My veggies need to be cooked as I have Crohn’s disease.

I need actual chicken or beef or vegan recipes please that I can cook or make

Mystery rash & new dr

Tomorrow I am going to yet another new doctor. It’s going to be dermatology as I keep breaking out into a rash. No one really knows why. Plus my GI said Crohn’s patients have a higher risk of skin cancer?

I’m not thrilled about seeing yet another doctor and probably getting even more medication and another new diagnosis for my chart….

It’s somewhat depressing actually and I could really use some support

Humira side effects

Anyone on Humira experience side effects?

For me, it’s an insane amount of fatigue. The next day is usually the harder or worse days. Sometimes I still feel kind of awful two days later too. But by day 3, I’m back to normal living. I also get some body aches too

Smoothie/Snack/Dessert Recipes

My favorite way to my fruits and veggies is a smoothie.this is my favorite:
1 banana
1 cup almond milk
1/2 cup Greek yogurt
1/3 cup of cauliflower rice/kale/spinach
2 tablespoons of peanut butter
1 scoop chocolate protein powder OR 2 tablespoons cocoa powder
2 tablespoons ground flax seed
1 cup ice

I used to make peanut butter protein balls or some sort of overnight oats for lunch or even snack. Is that something that aligns with the diet?

Any other smoothie recipes?
What snacks do you like that are pork free and nut free? Does anyone have any dessert recipes?
Thanks :-)

Crohn’s & diet

I have severe Crohn’s disease but want to keep the Mediterranean diet. It’s just myself eating really. On rare occasions my fiancé will eat at home. Since it’s just me, it’s hard to do fish. I prefer to cook like once a week as a normal recipe is made for a family. So I get 3-5 meals out of it for myself.
There’s a lot I can’t have. I can’t have most veggies raw, no salads, no nuts, can’t do certain beans, no pork, dairy free, can’t do a certain fruits like berries either.
I’m at a loss for recipes. Especially snacks!!!
**Not looking for advice on how to treat my Crohn’s.**

Pattern suggestions

Any pattern suggestions for just one skein of this yarn? I was gifted it and doubt I can find the same color lot. I’m willing to knit or crochet, but really I’m a knitter. I’m not very good at finding projects based off yarn I’m gifted. I only buy yarn for a specific project.
I’ve searched and searched but all I can really come up with this exact yarn on ravelry are hats, scarves, blankets, cowls, mittens…. I was hoping to make something else.
Can I use any worsted weight pattern for this? What other suggestions do you have please?

Young diagnosis

I was diagnosed with severe Crohn’s disease at the age of 11. However, doctors thing I was born with Crohn’s disease. Like, within the first 6 months of my life I was already not eating or growing like my siblings.

Just wondering if anyone was with Crohn’s was told something similar? Or has a similar history of showing signs and symptoms as a newborn?

RSO Recipes

I’ve been making RSO edibles for years. I like to use it for more of a daily micro doses (5-10 mgs). I’ve made a few things like RSO honey (not easy to make), chocolates, and gummies. I don’t want to make butter with RSO. I prefer flower for that.

What are some other recipes that’ll be easy to dose out? I like having it portioned so there’s less guessing and each piece is basically the same.

Anyone else miss the secret menu that Wawa used to have?

My favorite was the spicy jalapeño strawberry lemonade. I still think about that yummy drink

Vytal door buster

I picked up this 8th for $6. At Vytal today as a door buster. It says the strain is MRBE. About 28% THC 1.5% CBGA

Has anyone tried it? What can you tell me about it please?
