Center of Gravity

Song: Center of Gravity

Duration: 3:56

[Intro]

The center of gravity

[Verse One]

We've fallen back

On better days

We're given nothing

And told to walk away

[Verse Two]

We've been sold by the hundreds

Been programmed to care

But we all belong

In your mind's city square

[Pre-Chorus]

Take a drink, take a sip of your liberty

Rinse it through, spit it out

And forget who you ever were

[Chorus]

For generations, we have survived

In the wreckage of the life that you left behind

For future reference, let us clarify

Where we reside

Above your eyes

Within the center of gravity

[Verse Three]

We're simple now

We've been dumbed down

But we're ripping open

Your false authority

[Verse Four]

We've been packaged and shipped out

Been programmed to wait

There's a clock within us

Right twice a day

[Verse Five]

And we've been sold by the hundreds

Been programmed to care

But we all belong

In your mind's city square

[Pre-Chorus]

Take a drink, take a sip of your liberty

Rinse it through, spit it out

And forget

[Chorus]

For generations, we have survived

In the wreckage of the life that you left behind

For future reference, let us clarify

Where we reside

Above your eyes

Within the center of gravity

[Instrumental]

[Chorus]

For generations, we have survived

In the wreckage of the life that you left behind

For future reference, let us clarify

Where we reside

Above your eyes

In your mind's city square

For generations, we have survived

In the wreckage of the life that you left behind

For future reference, let us clarify

Where we reside

Above your eyes

Within the center of gravity

We reside

We are your eyes

Within the center of gravity

[Refrain]

(Where we reside)

(Where we reside)

(Where we reside)

(Where we reside)

Of gravity

(Where we reside)

(Where we reside)

(Where we reside)

(Where we reside)

[Outro]

And we resign!

ATTENTION BRISTOW, VA CONCERT ATTENDEES!

I will be making a bunch of Breaking Benjamin and Chevelle bracelets (and maybe a few STARSET ones) to give out to anybody who would like one before the show starts! I want to give out as many as I possibly can, so if you are planning on going to the Bristow show October 24th, please leave a comment below on your favorite song or what you want your bracelet to say! I can do specifications too like on color or size! These bracelets are absolutely free!! If you have a request, sound off in the comments!! I'm getting to the show early and waiting a few hours in line before doors, so as long as you get there before doors open, you should be able to find me and get your bracelet!

Hopefully this post gets at least a little engagement and hopefully this is allowed within the rules of the sub!

Thank you! =)

Dead Silence Tattoo Concept

I put this together today because of a recent post in the BT sub, and I think it turned out pretty well! I know it's definitely not ideal for an actual tattoo just because it's so intricate in certain parts, but I think it looks pretty neat nonetheless! Let me know what you guys think of it!

Pieces of Layer just... disappeared?

Not exactly sure what the fuck happened but half of my layer just straight vanished and spots on other layers in different folders did to. I was told this was an issue with the XCF file itself but is there any way to get the lost info back? Opening and reclosing GIMP didnt work and booting on a different version also did nothing. I'm assuming my however-many hours-of-work is just fucked but maybe not, I dont know. Any help is appreciated. Thank you
