XPeng L03: Ultra vs. Standard. What do you actually lose?
Hey everyone,
Looking into ordering the L03 here in Germany, but I’m torn on the trims. In Germany, the Ultra is strictly AWD, whereas I would’ve bought a Long Range RWD Ultra in a heartbeat if it existed here.
Since the RWD is only available in the lower/standard spec, I’m trying to figure out what I’d actually be missing out on day-to-day if I skip the Ultra.
Beyond just raw horsepower/dual motors, what features are tied to the Ultra’s Turing compute stack?
Specifically curious about:
\- Autonomous Driving / NGP: Is VLA 2.0 and the future EU rollout completely locked behind the Turing chips?
\- Auto Parking (APA): Does the standard trim handle unmarked bays / memory reverse, or is that only on the Ultra?
\- Cabin & Hardware: Are there differences in on-device VLM voice response, audio systems, or sensor heating/cameras?
For those who’ve tested or researched both: is the tech gap big enough to justify jumping to the AWD Ultra, or does the standard/RWD give you 90% of the everyday experience?
Appreciate any insights!
